ch 30

The defeat of miledi marks the end of the labyrinth's trial. The path cleared up for them, leading into the last room that held the secret of the liberator.

Silence filled the room with a somber tone, waiting for the three people to give their farewell to the liberator of reisen grand labyrinth. It was just a few hours, but miledi already held a special spot in their heart.

Well....a different type of special spot in nagumo's heart at least. Nagumo was looking somewhere else, waiting for shia to let out their sadness.

" She fooled us well." Nagumo's words took their attention.

"Yes....who would have thought she was doing all of this for us." The rabbit girl said earning a glance from nagumo.

A newfound inspiration shone in shia's eyes, she was not the same hopeless rabbit she was before. There was a new will burning fiercely inside her heart to achieve the liberator's legacy. Task no other people were willing to take, yet they were deemed worthy to be their successors.

Nagumo silently led them toward the door, then they stood on a stone that moved toward the huge door of the chamber that held the proof of defeating the labyrinth.

" Suit yourself, just don't get me involved."

Unexpectedly nagumo rejected the mission.

" You get that....miledi."

Loud rumble echoed as the door opened, revealing a small golem under a yellow coat.

" Oh my, you found me teheee...." Stepping inside the huge room, a golem greeted them with a very annoying happy expression.

They felt confused, surprised, and pissed at the same time hearing that familiar voice.

" Huh!!!! No no no you are saying this thing is miledi?"Kazuma pointed a finger at the small golem with a face that looked like a smile  emote.

There was an audible cracking sound of kazuma's dream!!! No way this was the same giant wise golem that they fought!!!! Where did all of the charisma go, the cool looking golem and the wise speech she gave before?!!!!! Huge disappointment reflected on kazuma's slumped body.

The same could be said for shia, her face was red in embarrassment. With tearful eyes she saw her dreams of being crushed into pieces along with her trust in this certain liberator.

" Jokes aside, you guys are special. The fact that you are here means that you are different from the rest."

Miledi said solemnly, they widened their eyes at the sudden praise. In their eyes reflected the figure of the golem, the last liberator that had patiently waited for them for hundreds of years.

" I have seen your struggles, your hardships and courage. Until now there were no other people that could....evoke this long lost emotion."

Her small hand rested in front of her chest, her ever present smile failed to hide the emotion raging inside her. Her voice wavered for a moment, threatening to let loose the feeling she had been holding back for the past hundred of years.

All of their doubts momentarily disappeared at miledi's smile. This girl had gone through a lot more than them. They knew the loneliness of fighting a losing battle alon-

" This satisfaction that i felt .......watching three idiots getting pranked by stones hehehehe!!!"

" Mileediiiii, i wasted my tears!!!" Shia shouted

Miledi was clearly enjoying this situation, she continue teasing them until they reached their limit.

Miledi froze and shut her mouth. A bullet stuck on the floor beside her, after that white smokes rose from the hole. She turned around and saw weapons pointed at her.

" Hieee!!! I apologize i will be quite!!"

" Shut up and give us our reward." They demanded. Miledi knew they were serious this time and she might not be able to squirm out of this mess if she teased them again, so she decided to stop.

" It's over there just stand in the circle."

The three of them walked toward the circle. Light rose up from the magic circle engulfing nagumo and shia.

"Eh, what about me?!!"

Kazuma stood there but nothing happened. In response miledi giggled and told him that he didn't fulfill the requirement because he used the shortcut. Unlike the orcus dungeon that had lost its liberator, reisen labyrinth still had miledi and she controlled the magic circle manually.

Yeah this was just miledi deciding not to give the age of god magic to kazuma....for a certain reason

Silently miledi stared at kazuma......yeah She couldn't imagine what kazuma would do if he got an age of god magic!!! She nodded herself while looking at kazuma, he would be alright.

" Where are the other rewards?"

Miledi turned to see nagumo extending his hand in a demanding manner. The golem took out a ring as proof of defeating the labyrinth to nagumo.

" Wish you luck on your journey."

Thus the meeting between the heroes and liberator ended......or it should be, but nagumo didn't move his hand and narrowed his eyes.

" Is that all?"

"Eh?"

While confused, miledi shifted her gaze from nagumo to the ring on his hand and nodded innocently. That cute gesture failed to convince Nagumo.

" Kazuma do your thing."

Nervously miledi turned around and gazed upon the scene of kazuma wriggling his hand with a scary face.

Hours later there was a huge pile of artifacts behind kazuma, and miledi standing on all four in defeat.

" FUuuhhhh.....you are the real thief."

Which was considered as a praise by kazuma. They walked toward the artifacts and discussed what they would do about these artifacts. Selling one of these artifacts could sustain them for life, imagine how easy his life would be!!! Oh he could see it already!!! He could taste the golds and smell the luxury lif-

" Okie dokie, then get the hell out already."

They saw Miledi pull a rope and a huge amount of water flowed inside the room. Unable to fight the water current, they were pulled by the waves, into the hole like a toilet that was being flushed.

" Flush thing that you don't like, it's what everyone does right?"

Miledi said while hanging from above.

" F*ck you i will remember this!!!" Said nagumo

Hehehe, they are so rowdy. How would she bear with the silence once they were gone.

"One day i will erase you from existance  Desuuuuu" Shia said

Miledy smiled, she had waited in silence for hundreds of year.....another year wouldn't be difficult would it? Asked miledy to herself while enjoying the last second of their voices.

"Steeeealllllllll!!!!!!" Kazuma said.

He felt his magic being disturbed but he persisted!!! Even unconsciously went on limit break just to cast this magic on a split second chance that he got!!!

Everything blurred, the next moment miledi realised she was inside the water with kazuma, nagumo and shia.

"Ah...."

That day the raisen grand labyrinth lost its liberator
