Chapter - 9

They walked towards the music room. And
thankfully Raghav hadn't reached yet.
Again Nandini was standing quietly leaning
her back with the wall all lost in thoughts
and Manik was again staring at her. He
slowly walked towards her and stood beside
her.
"May I ask you question?" He said looking at
the boys and girls in front of him.
"Pocho..!" She said slowly lowering her
head.
"Why is there so much sadness in your eyes?
I mean what is the reason behind all this?"
Manik asked carefully.
"Manik..! I'll give you a friendly advice
again..!! Don't try to find the reason behind
my sadness..!!" Again the cold expressions
were back. Manik sighed and nodded his
head. He thought that after today's incident
she will tell him about her but he was
wrong..!!
After sometime Raghav came and greeted
everyone.
"So guys..!! Today I want our famous
Rockstar to sing something for us..!! Along
with his crew..!!" Raghav exclaimed. Fab5 look
at each other and all nodded.
Manik,Dhruv and Mukti grabbed their
guitars. Alya on the piano and Cabir on
drums.
"Before I start..!! I want to dedicate this song
to someone special in this room..!!"Manik
said in the mic and look at Nandini. She was
constantly looking at him as soon as he look
at her she lowered her gaze. "I hope you are
listening..!!" Manik said again looking at her
and started.

(Manik sang and look at Nandini. She was looking
at him with too much pain in her eyes)

smiled at him and concentrated on her guitar)

(Manik sang with too much intensity and look at
Nandini that he really mean those words)

rolling down her cheeks)

(Manik sang and walked towards her. He gently
picked up a lone tear from her cheek and jerk it
away.)
Jaiz nahi lagta mujhay gham say tera rishta...
(Manik sang and gently wiped all her tears
shaking his head in a no as if asking her not to
cry)

(Manik ended the song and Nandini look in his
eyes.)
Everyone clapped for Fab5. Manik walked
back towards his crew and Nandini wiped
her tears.
"Bravo..!!" Raghav praised them. After the
class finished Nandini slowly walked out of
the classroom. She was about to step out of
the college when she heard someone calling
her. She turned back and saw Manik
standing.
"Nandini..!!" He came near her.
"What Manik?" She asked surprisingly.
"Wo I wanted to ask again..!! Tum paka aoa
ge na?" Manik asked with a doubt.
"I don't go back on my words Manik...!!"
Nandini said.
"Great..!!" Manik exclaimed."Come I'll drop
you..!!" Manik said.
"No Manik..!! I am not going home..!!"
Nandini said.
"Then where are you going?" Manik asked
surprisingly.
"Academy..!! I teach there..!!" Nandini said
lowering her head.
"Ok no problem..!! I'll drop you there..!!"
Manik said shrugging his shoulders.
"But?" Nandini tried to argue but Manik
didn't let her. He dragged her towards his
car and dropped her at the academy. During
the whole journey Manik was constantly
talking to her although she was giving a one
word answer but Manik was enjoying
talking to her. Soon they reached the
academy.
"So here we are..!! I must say Nandini I
really enjoyed talking to you..!!" Manik
exclaimed.
"Manik..!! Khud ko mera itna aadi mat
bnaoa..!! You will get hurt..!!" Nandini said
sadly and got down of the car leaving a
confused Manik behind.
"Ufff..!! Ya larki..!! Haahh..!! Tomorrow will
be my life's best birthday party ever..!! I'll
propose you Nandini..!! Then let's see how
will you say no to me..!!" Manik talked to
himself smilingly. Unaware of the fact that
the party which he wants to make best will
going to be proved the worst ever..!!
