CHAPTER 3

EMMA'S POV

Ashton and I talked for hours like nothing had changed like he was always here in my life.

" so when did he start hurting you?" Ashton asked worried

" I think 3 years ago right after Gracie turned 3." I said which made me think about what has happened and sent shivers down my spine.

"why don't you report him?" Ashton asked

" well he can get out in a couple years and he would come after me."

" Get a restraining order on him." Ashton feeling successful.

" oh yes a piece of paper saying he can't come near me."

" well if he violates it you call the cops and he gets arrested." Ashton said which made me think.

" Then I will someday." I said hopefully.

right then I heard a car door close outside of my house.

" Shit it's 4 Ashton go out the back door! You didn't park in the driveway right?" I said nervously.

" No I parked down the street. Ok well bye!" He said and hugged me then ran out the back door.

" what was that?" Calum slurred going to the back door.

" um j-just a bug I was letting out. I said standing in front of the door.

" Oh ya that stop blocking the door." Calum said looking at.

i moved out of the door way and let him look out the door," nothing." I said.

" your so weird." Calum said laughing and kissed me on the forehead and went upstairs to our room.

" You joining me upstairs?" Calum asked popping his head out of our room as I was walking upstairs. I mean ya I know that I don't like him when's he's abusive but I still love him he's my husband but I don't know if we should or not.

i walked into our room and calum was waiting for me. I crawled into bed and he wrapped his arms around me.

" I'm sorry for earlier baby I don't know what came over me you know I love you." He said.

" I love you too calum." I said and closed my eyes. I'm scared of calum sometimes but I still have feelings for him but I know I should get away from him. Gracie and I can't stay here we aren't safe.
