📱 YEONJUN: What do you think about earrings?

Beomgyu blinked at the message. Random. But then again, Yeonjun's texts were always random.

📱 PABO!: ...Like, in general? Or on you?

📱 YEONJUN: On me, obviously. Who else would I be asking for fashion advice from?

📱 PABO!: Wow. Honored. But I dunno. You already look expensive. Wouldn't earrings just make you illegal?

📱 YEONJUN: So you think I look expensive?

📱 PABO!: That's what you got from this???

📱 YEONJUN: Just saying. You could've said 'rich' or 'stylish,' but you picked expensive. Sounds like someone finds me attractive 👀

📱 PABO!: I take it back. Wear crocs and a plastic bag.

📱 YEONJUN: Too late~ You already admitted it 😏

📱 PABO!: BYE!

📱 YEONJUN: OK WAIT! Serious question I swear.

📱 PABO!: I don't trust you but ok go on.

📱 YEONJUN: Would you rather fight a hundred pigeon-sized tigers or one tiger-sized pigeon?

A moment passed. Then another.

📱 PABO!: Why am I still talking to you?

Meanwhile, Beomgyu wasn't the only one suffering.

Since he shifted into the dorm with his friends, life has not been easy.

Living in a dorm meant being stuck in a front-row seat to whatever was going on between his friends.

Sunghoon, for example, had suddenly decided flirting was his new personality trait—but only with Sunoo.

"Sunoo-yah," Sunghoon drawled, leaning in unnecessarily close. "Have I ever told you how nice your skin looks under this lighting?"

Sunoo barely glanced up from his phone. "And yet, you still look like that under the same lighting. Tragic."

Beomgyu choked back a laugh, but Sunghoon just smirked. "Harsh. But if I looked like you, I'd have a big ego too."

Sunoo finally looked at him, one eyebrow raised. "Oh? You think I'm good-looking?"

Sunghoon shrugged. "I mean, you know you are."

And if that was not enough to puke over...

Jay was stretched out on the couch, his head suspiciously close to Jungwon's lap. "Let's just watch an action movie."

Jungwon rolled his eyes. "You always pick action."

Jay grinned. "Because it's fun."

Jungwon gave him a look. "You just like seeing fight scenes so you can pretend you'd win in one."

Jay smirked. "You saying I wouldn't?"

Jungwon didn't even hesitate. "No."

Beomgyu turned to Niki, "I hate it here."

Heeseung and Jake? Don't even get him started.

The two of them had always been close, but lately, there was this unspoken tension in the way they interacted. The kind of tension that made Beomgyu deeply uncomfortable when he was forced to sit between them on the couch.
