"Kitty, where are we?.."

"It's an abandoned building, it was an old crack house or something.. I don't know but anyway. People say it's a cool place, lots of art on the walls, creepy but chill place.."

Piper walked into the building after us holding hands with moose, and need-less to say. She wasn't impressed.

"Seriously, Kitty Are you crazy?!.. we can't stay here it's dangerous as shit.."
Piper said as she crossed her arms, she was absolutely pissed at this point. And I don't blame her.

"Hey, hey. Hey.. How about. We let elli decide, it is her birthday after all.."
Kitty said as she put her arm around me with a cheeky grin, that was never a good sign. That was her 'trying to get away with this with charm so Piper doesn't get mad' look but it was not working. I mean- it never worked. I was in a bit of an awkward situation. I didn't wanna create a bigger problem between my friends. So I did what any person would do in this situation-

"How about. We stay for a little, since Kitty found this place for me.. and then we can leave in an hour.. deal?"

Yep. I people pleased, so on band for me.

"Elliana, you can't be serious."
Piper said as she turned to look at me, she looked disappointed and I was a little nervous, Piper can be a bit... scary. But I wanted to see this through.. even if this place kinda creeps me the fuck out..

"Yeah, why not I mean- Kitty did go out her way to find this place.."

"You heard the girl, let's get this party started. happy birthday, elli."
Kitty said with a wide smile, as she puts a joint in her mouth, pulling out a lighter from her back pocket and lighting it. Piper crossed her arms over her chest as she groaned in frustration with the same annoyed look on her face. moose on the other hand was kinda scared to get on his girlfriend's bad side. So he decided to just chill out and shared the joint with kitty. Smart choice.
We were there for about an hour, we played some board games, like monopoly and candy land, talked a little, got high, listened and danced to music. And then we started to pack up to leave. And this is where it's started to go downhill from here.

"Moose, can you start taking this stuff to the truck?.."
Piper said, as she handed moose the speaker and board games.

"Yeah, baby.."

Moose takes the board games and speaker from Piper and started taking the things to the truck, when he stepped out the door.. when-

"Do you guys smell that?.."
He said as he turned around.

"Smell what?.."

We said in unison, we all looked at him confused, we had no idea what he was talking about. But it was definitely freaking him out a little. Moose looked around again but continued to pack the rest of the stuff in the truck, we all stopped for a moment to get pictures. You know for memories, we were all heading out when Piper stopped in her tracks.

"Do you guys smell gas?.."

She said as she looked around and sniffing around, she felt like she was going crazy for a moment everyone was starting to freak out at this point. I mean not one.. but two people have said they smell gas and we all started moving quickly.. until the room filled up with the gas. I was behind everybody when I started to feel like I couldn't breathe. I grabbed my throat as I started choking and coughing, everyone was already out until they noticed I wasn't behind them. I was gasping for air as I dropped to my knees. It felt Like I was paralyzed by the gas, Piper came back for me and then Kitty came back for Piper, then moose whom was on the phone with 911... and then until we knew it we all started dropping like flies. And last thing i knew everything went...Dark.

Happy 18th birthday to me. I guess.
