I glanced at him. he looks like he's trying his best to stay awake. I went to the kitchen and came back with a medicine for his hangover.
"Take this medicine and later go change your clothes, okay?"
He looks at me, still holding his head. He takes the medicine I gave him and then looks at the clothes that I put on the table.
"Those are my old clothes... right?"
I look at him and nod hesitantly. I'm scared if he will talk bad about me keeping his things with me until now.
He stands up and tries to walk more steadily towards the table where his old clothes are.
"Turn around... I gotta change my clothes"
He looks at me to see if I'll turn around like he asked.
I chuckle softly.
"even when you're drunk, you are still trying to be a gentleman"
I turn away with a smile, not looking at him.
"nothing had changed, i guess"
I can hear that he starts to take off his sweaty, wet shirt. After he's done changing, he sits on the sofa and puts his feet up, leaning back with his eyes closed.
"This feels better"
He opens his eyes and looks at me, he looks a little drunk but less.
"That's good to hear. Take some rest, I'm going to change my clothes too and dry our clothes, okay?"
He looks at me with sad eyes.
"You don't have to..."
I can see guilt all over his face.
"Stay here with me"
I turn to look at him, my gaze softens.
"It's okay it won't take long"
I smile, assuring him that I'll be back as soon as possible.
He still looks at me a few seconds before sighing and nodding.
"If you say so..."
He leans back on the sofa again, shutting his eyes. He looks a bit better now after taking the medicine. Hope the medicine is already doing its magic to him now.
I went to change my clothes. I put on a white baggy shirt that I wore last night. I usually wear my PJs twice before washing them.
After that I went out and collected all his wet clothes and threw them in the dryer.
I went back to sit with jiyong in the living room. He opened his eyes when he realized my presence.
"Is that clothes too? Why are you wearing only shorts? You'll catch a cold, sweetheart"
He gives me a disapproving look, a drunken man's brain still thinks "woman should wear proper clothes during cold days" (a/n: the double standards is insane lmao) He sits up straight and glances at my legs, then sighs.
I smile sadly at him. since I left him, I never threw away his clothes that he left here. I told my friend to keep it.
"This is my all time favorite outfit to wear"
It's true. Even before I ran away, I always wearing his clothes, especially this white shirt with his initials on it.
He looks at me. He looks like he didn't expect me to be wearing his old clothes.
"Aren't you cold?"
He takes you by the shoulder, bringing you a little closer to him as he frowns.
I shiver a bit as I say. He takes his long sleeve shirt off and puts it around me, then he hugs me closer, his body heat warming me up instantly.
