Dedicated to @Tireless_pathfinder for the comment. It totally made my day.

Her face lit up with glee as her mom brushed her hair.
"Party! Party! We're going to a party!"
Isabelle was just adorable in her yellow sundress. It had a white and yellow skirt, with a picture of a sunflower on the front. Her floppy hat had a plastic sunflower, and a band keeping the hat on her head while she bounced around in her mom's lap. Her golden curls bobbed up and down, and her blue eyes were bright.
"When are we leaving?"
"When daddy gets home, we can leave for the party."
"Yay!! Daddy'll be here soon, right?"
"He'll be here real quick. We'll be ready when he gets home, okay?"
"I hope there's watermelon! I love watermelon."
Isabelle looked up at her mom, and her mom smiled back. Her hair was pulled back, and she was wearing a simple, red blouse and shorts. She hugged her little girl tight, waiting.

"Her conditions getting worse'" the doctor reported. "At this point, I don't think there's hope. She isn't responding to the medicine. We've done all we can, there's nothing left to do."
The patient's sister looked inside with worry.
Inside, she was sitting on a chair, hugging a doll. Her hair was everywhere, her grey clothes shabby, while the doll was pristine. She started lifting it up in the air and kissing it.
"I don't know how this happened, she wasn't like this growing up."
"There's a tumor, near her brain, and it's affecting her behavior. That's why she took a sudden turn. She's a danger to herself and others, now."
"What will happen to her then?"
"Well, the tumor is too close to operate on... it will probably get bigger, and... she'll die." The patient's sister gasped. "But for now, we'll keep her here. She seems happy, in her own world."
"First Joe, then Isabelle, now Cindy..."
"I know it's hard. I would go home, spend time with your family. It's a lot to handle."
She put her palm up to the glass. The glass that seperated them. Kept her out of Cindy's world.
"I'm glad she's here, though, after her family, she'd probably come and kill mine too."
Neither the doctor, nor Cindy responded to her words. The doctor didn't know what to say, and Cindy was hugging the doll again.
"My pretty little Isabelle..."
