"Yep." Evangeline nodded and the two took off down the hall. "Meet me by my car later."

Evangeline pulled into the school parking lot. She prayed one of the doors would still be unlocked as she had left her homework in her locker.
She got out of her car holding her umbrella over her head as she noticed Simon's car sitting in the lot as well. She quickly made her way into the school.
"Jeez it's cold." The girl said to herself as she closed her umbrella. She stood for a moment just listening as she heard talking coming from the garage in the school.
"You see that?" She heard someone say as she stood outside the garage. "What is that? Is that more of your phone?"
"Hello?" Evangeline called out as she entered. Simon's head snapped in her direction. He was alone. "Simon? What are you doing here?"
"Vange? Why are you here?" He asked as she walked over to him both facing where he was turned.
"I left my homework. Who were you talking to?" She asked as she looked around.
"I was on the phone with Nicole." He said as she noticed something in his hand.
"What is that?"
"Uh.." Simon glanced at his hand then back at her. Suddenly a hand was on each of their shoulders.
The two gasped and jumped forward as they turned to see Mr Anderson standing behind them.
"What are you two doing in here so late?" He asked.
"I came back to look for the.." Simon started but was cut off.
"Look for what?" Mr Anderson asked. "Maybe you should let the people in charge do their job. They'll figure out what happened to Maddie."
The two teens stared at him in shock. The three ended up outside, Mr Anderson leading them to their cars.
"Are we in trouble?" Evangeline asked him.
"That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid, guys."
"So where are you taking us?" Simon questioned as looked at Mr Anderson then at Evangeline.
"Your cars." He responded. "And listen, let's not mention this to anyone tomorrow, okay?"
The two nodded and Evangeline climbed in her car as she heard Simon speak up.
"Mr Anderson, Can I ask what you were doing here so late?" Simon stared at him.
"Drive safe, Simon." Was the only response given.

Evangeline sat on the couch putting her converse on as she watched her dad get yelled at by Sandra Nears.
"Find my daughter." She said to him before leaving.
Her dad shut the door and sighed as he turned to see Xavier standing with his backpack right near Evangeline.
