"Pfft- you're telling me." Sniper began to complain. "My account of something I actually saw was debunked by a shitty show and SPY!!?" He seemed to loathe spy a lot as he began to complain. "I just can't stand that useless wuss. The team would be better without him in my opinion." He folded his arms huffing in anger.
"I'm not his biggest fan at the moment myself." I complained with him. "He took something that belongs to me and I want it back."
It sounded like he was picking something up from inside his van, slinging it over his shoulder as he opened the door taking a step out of it, placing his hat on his head, I saw what he had on him and noticed it was his gun, he grumbled. "I'll get it back for you. I've wanted an excuse to have a go at him after yesterday."
I didn't even need to ask him. I was surprised, I thought it was going to be difficult to convince him? But all it took was bonding over a hatred of Spy?!
He started walking, waving me to follow him with his hand. "Come on. Let's go." I nodded, walking after him.
While we sped through the halls I pointed to his gun, concerned. "You're not going to use that are you?"
He side-glanced at me. "No." He replied flatly.
I didn't feel too comfortable with Sniper helping me now, but unfortunately, there's no going back and I'll have to see how my poor choices turn out.
We continued walking down the halls and eventually we made it to a room with double doors. I slowed down, expecting to pause in front of it; what I didn't expect was for Sniper to boot the door open harshly with his leg, making it slam and jolt the objects that were placed behind it.
Sniper walked straight in, me following him in shock. Sniper stood in the middle of the room eying up Spy, while spy was sat still. Reading a book with a cigarette, he didn't even flinch as he glanced up, noticing me and Sniper.
He ashed his cigarette out on the ashtray, he shut the book, carefully placing it beside him, he folded his leg across his other one as he held his hands together upon his lap. "May I help?" He said looking between the pair of us.
"Just give the girl her gadget back." Sniper spoke briefly.
He looked between us once again, a relaxed fake smile on his face. "She could've just came alone, I would've given it back today anyway. I've seen all I need to see." Speaking slyly, he reached into his inside pocket, taking it out, holding it towards me. "Getting people involved in your dilemmas only causes more issues, non?" His eyes were locked on to me; piercing into my soul. "Especially in this dilemma." He turned to Sniper, still speaking with me, my phone still in his grip. "It was not necessary to bring this mongrel."
This seemed to irritate Sniper as he now had his gun pointed directly between Spy's eyes. "Say that. Again." He dared.
"Did I strike a nerve bushman?" Spy mocked.
"I'll strike your head off, you bloody windup!"Sniper threatened.
I looked between the two and began to regret getting Sniper involved. 'This is going to end terribly...' I thought to myself.
Flashback:
Snipers POV:
It was my first battle on the red team and the lads were all still a bit rusty and not as expiwrienced- well- I obviously was, I'm a professional, I've been shooting my gun for years.
