The church bell chimed with the entry of the bride and groom and guests dressed formally. Toddlers who were playing with giggles finally settled down. As the father instructed, all stood up for vows as time passed, and the guests were immersed.

A woman in her mid-20s is sitting in a corner in the 3rd row wearing a floral dress with pearls. Her face was shadowed by a French bret veil, lost in her thoughts, yet her frown was loud enough to be noticed.

A woman similar to her age wearing a white shirt with a beige knee-length skirt and a book in her hand came and sat beside her. She moved without paying attention and started murmuring.

"I don't get what's so fun about marriages that people enjoy them and insist they should celebrating their anniversaries."

Woman beside her says, "Yeah, you are right, but sometimes marriage can be the best thing ever happened to you,and you may regret not celebrating it, Alisa."

Alisa looked "How do you know my name, wait ! Who are you?... Were my thoughts too loud?"

"Oh, could you slow down? My name is Christina, and who does not know about you, You are next in line to be married, and your mother is telling everyone about you."

"Oh, really, well, I could have guessed that I mean, she is so eager to get me married after my sister, as if she is already done by me."

"Look," Chistina's voice was interrupted by the announcement.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN DINNER WILL BE SHORTLY SERVED IN THE FRONT YARD OF THE CHURCH

Alisa's eye fell on the book which chistina was holding but she was unable to read the title.

And everyone started dispersing Christina forgot her book. Alisa pointed and said, "hey, you forgot your book."

Christina replied, "it's for you,Alisa"

Alisa took a look at it. Finally she was able to read the title "ARE WE ON AN ISLAND" Lost in her thoughts

FLASHBACK

A gentle breeze running through her chestnut hair and her hazel eyes locked on the display of leaf and lore bookstore. The bestseller novel "ARE WE ON AN ISLAND" was sold out. "I wish it was early enough to get it" (end of flashout) a child bumped into her and she came to her senses. Her eyes searched for Christina; she was nowhere to be found.Alisa took the book with her.

She put the book in her backpack and started heading towards the drinks section, gulped a few shots and set her chestnut curly hair by looking into her iPhone and was about to leave when she heard a similar deep voice.

"Someone is looking pretty today."

She turned around and saw her ex-boyfriend standing; he was wearing a black tuxedo and blue shirt. Her thoughts started running: "How could he still look so hot with a weird new hairstyle? With a pause, she said, "Someone is looking like a waiter today".

He searching in her eyes for some answer said, "wait"

With an annoying tone she said , "Why? Do you need anything?".

""Yeah, actually I know this is wrong, but I came here for closure", he said.

"Closure, seriously you are talking about the closure on my sister's wedding, you could have come to my wedding and asked about closure" I rolled my eyes towards the bar.

THE VIEW OF THE BAR WITH A LOT OF DRINKS AND SOFT HANGING LIGHTS. SHE TOOK FAST STEPS TOWARDS IT AND HE FOLLOWED HER.

"Why are you being hyper, I know I have done wrong; you decided to leave me, but can't I get closure? I don't know about you but I want to overcome this." He exclaimed.

She sat down and asked for "Daiquiri," keeping her eyes on the table irritated, until he was gone.

A manly hand with veins and rolled sleeves, keep the glass Daiquiri in front of her.

Followed by a voice carrying a deep, resonant timbre, like the soft rumble of distant thunder, "Here is your drink, ma'am."

She looked up into his dreamy gray eyes. Skimming his French beard, silky hair styled in pompadour, and his bold shoulders were highlighted by the soft lighting.

"Thank you; I really needed it" said Alisa and gulped it in one go. And left from there.
