"It was full of dinos."

"Full of dinos?" Aminata echoes.

"Come." She smiles after a long pause, "Get some water." She offers, beckoning them towards the house.

"My daughter was so excited when that little Gallimimus showed up." Aminata recalls fondly as she washes her hands in a water basin, "It looked so small and scared. We couldn't turn it away."

She laughs to herself, "Now, it's taller than both of us."

Sammy chuckles as she takes a seat beside Yaz and Y/N, glass of water in hand.

"But it wasn't the only dinosaur to suddenly appear," Aminata goes on, passing the water basin over to Sammy, "We know they came from upriver, but we don't know exactly where or why." She wanders off.

"But I doubt it can be good," She comes back bearing a tin of food as Sammy dips her hands in the water, "Dinosaurs weren't brought back out of altruism."

"Ain't that the truth." Yaz huffs, dipping her hands in as well.

"My husband's inland for our farm business, but we've also been working on getting our own answers about what's really going on here." Aminata explains as she hands them some food.

"Have you found anything?" Y/N asks, taking his turn with the water basin.

"No." Aminata frowns, "And the authorities weren't any help either. Still, we are lucky to have those Stegosauruses."

"I'm sorry," Yaz pauses, glancing at her friends, "Why are you lucky to have the Stegosauruses?"

"To protect us," Aminata looks up at them, "From the other one."

"The other what?" Y/N quirks a brow.

A loud roar echos out in the distance, the nearby birds fleeing from the trees. The group of four twists around, turning their attention to the odd commotion as the atmosphere grows tense.

"Oh no." Aminata stands up, taking slow steps towards her farm as more birds flock from the trees.

The others get up to join her, standing behind the woman as she splays her arms out protectively and silently scans the nearby jungle.

A low growl from between the tall grass slowly morphs into a roar as the mysterious creature creeps closer.

"Move, move." Aminata rushes them to hide behind some garden shaping supplies in a hurried whisper, all three of them doing so without hesitation.

The dinosaur shows itself and steps out of the grass, its feet settling in the shallow water of the garden as it dips its head down to take a drink.

"Where'd the Stegosauruses go?" Aminata whispers anxiously.

"Our friends moved them." Sammy admits.

"Moved them!?" Aminata gasps, "Why!?"

Just then, a young girl, seemingly Aminata's priorly mentioned daughter creeps around the back of the house and towards their hiding spot. Aminata grabs hold of the girl and wraps her in a tight hug.

"Thank goodness you're alright." She lets out a sigh of relief as she holds her daughter.

Darius and Kenji soon rush over behind her, joining the five of them behind the stack of bricks.

"There's a Suchomimus here." Darius mutters, "What is going on?"

"It's gonna eat everything in sight!" Sammy huffs, observing as the dinosaur feasts on the family's crops.
