Finishing with my business, I suddenly have the craving for some midnight snacks.

Before I got out, I made sure to clean my hand before my dirty hands could soil the food.

In the Kitchen, I managed to fix myself a fruit salad to satiate my craving.

*RUMBLING!!!*

Setting my food on the table and some orange juice to go along with it, while ignoring the thunder outside.

I took a bite and I would squeal like a girl from how good this tasted but it only happened in my heart.

It felt nice, eating by myself...

In this quiet dark house...

No one to disturb me...

All alone.

Quickly finishing up my salad and washing it all down with the orange juice. I'm ready for bed.

*RUMBLING!!!*

The storm is only going to get worse from here...

<<-------------------------------------->>

Why is she out here to begin with?

She should've taken the boy advice and go home, if only she knew a storm was approaching.

But then she doesn't want to return to that madhouse.

Every single day, a new problem would arise, voices and objects were thrown violently in there.

Her thought process at the beginning was to escape the house and rent a hotel room for a night but forgot that she left the money at home.

Not wanting to return home, she decided to wander around to clear away her frustration until she got hit on by that guy.

Charlotte wasn't stupid, her clothes was pretty revealing and she looked beautiful too and at times, this causes her trouble.

Then an interesting person, she dragged along to her problem, he's not the most good-looking that's for sure.

He played along with her to deter the man away and even put on a show, that when thinking about it, she leaked a snort.

After that he tries to escape from her, but she's not one to let go a person without thanking them from helping her.

She followed him but didn't expect his sharp senses, thus caught her red-handed.

Looking back at it, she seemed very pushy and too friendly, that it probably made the boy uncomfortable.

Charlotte: "Asking a stranger for a room to stay the night when you barely know them? So stupid..."

Then again, desperation will make a person do something they wouldn't do normally.

Charlotte: "I don't even know his name too..."

Even when she introduced herself, the boy didn't bother to give his name and completely ignore her.

Maybe he saw her as nothing more than a nuisance...

A normal person would when some random stranger pestering them for a place to stay the night.

*RUMBLING!!!*

Charlotte: "Being called a nuisance is nothing new..."

She's been called worse, and a small word like that won't get her down in the dumps.

The cold air from the heavy pour made her body involuntarily shiver, even the small shelter from the bus stop won't completely shield her from the rain.

In response, she hugged her body closely as her knee came up to help keep her body warm.

The rain splashes got on her, staining the fabrics on her body making it even colder than it should be.

As if the rain was consoling her, she too let out her own rain.

The stress from her situation causes the emotion she's been holding in to flood out of her.

She hated everything.

She hated the rain.

She hated the cold.

She hated her Parents.

She hated herself...

Why was she in this situation?

Only if she had better parents, and maybe just maybe she'll be normal like other people her age.

An overwhelming exhaustion hits her straight to the dome, her previous emotional outburst has taken the wind out of her.

Eyes droopy that would shut close, vision blurry from the remnant of tears, and the fleeting energy in her body slowly sapping away.

At this point she didn't care, she didn't mind if she'll take shelter under a bus stop.

No one would care for her if something were to happened to her tonight.

So she allowed her body to take rest, finally getting the sleep she needs.

Even the splashing water on the ground getting closer to her didn't bother her.

???: "Fucking idiot...Why didn't you find a place to sleep instead of this shit hole?"

Then a soft warm cloth envelop her entire body, before she felt her body lifted off the bench and her chest pressed on a sturdy wall.

No rain touched her as the person handling her held her with care, casually picking her up in a piggyback.

Their voice muddled through the rain couldn't be discern but could tell it was a male voice.

The warmth emitting from them felt soothing in a way that made her sleeping form unconsciously hug them.

She pressed her cheeks to their back, nuzzling it, enjoying the heat and afraid to lose it.

They went through a whole ordeal in the rain carrying her but finally made it their abode.

First thing he did was setting her down on the couch, and took another towel to wipe down any wet area so she doesn't get sick.

Turn on the heater and throw a blanket on her, heat is what she needed when he saw the excessive shivers she's suffering from.

???: "Great now you're sick, just great."

A small sliver of consciousness return back to Charlotte. She didn't know where she was.

It's warm and cozy that it nearly knock her back down, but before she return back to sleeping.

A little peek, she saw a familiar black hair person recently met.

Maybe after waking up, she'll need to ask for his name.

When was the last time someone cared this much for her?
