Charlotte: "Look...I kinda need a place to stay for the night..."

Fauster: "Why? Don't you have a place of your own, aren't you an adult?"

Charlotte: "Not everyone can afford a house okay!? Have you seen how expensive houses can get nowadays, especially in this economy!"

Fauster: "You make a fair point..."

Charlotte: "It's only for temporary, I just a need a place to crash in for a couple of days."

Fauster: "Then where were you living beforehand?"

Charlotte: "My parent's house."

Fauster: "Then why not go back?"

Charlotte: "I got into an argument with my folks, I don't want to see them for abit."

I can already feel a headache forming, as curious as I was about her situation at home, I have no obligation to help her at all.

Fauster: "But why mine specifically?"

Charlotte: "You were the only guy that didn't look at me like a pervert the whole night so I can trust you abit."

Fauster: "What kind of reasoning is that? I'm a guy too you know."

Charlotte: "Hmm, try it and I'll make sure you won't do it."

Fauster: "..."

Turning around this intersection, my house was now in sight.

Charlotte: "So how about it? Can I stay?"

Fauster: "No."

Charlotte: "Fine, I'll leave..."

Her food stopped right before she stepped onto my lawn, and mine already crossed it.

Fauster: "You should get back before your parents worry about you."

Charlotte: "Like hell they will..."

Haa...I don't like it, my gut is twisting, this unfamiliar sensation that I knew all too well and I wish I can kill it.

For some reason and somehow, her words also irked me.

I don't like it.

*Click!*

With that I close the door shielding me away from Charlotte disappearing figure.

*RUMBLING!!!*

Crackling with energy, bursting soundwaves from heated electricity and heavy rain pour down, muffled by my walls.

I awoke to the scream of tempest blasting it shouts across the land while it cries.

Fauster: "I need to pee..."

Strutting my way to the bathroom as I rub the dirt out my tired eyes, having a moment to catch the time on clock; 12.06 AM.

In my own world, my first thought stir to Charlotte lonely back walking away from my house.

I...I was worried for a girl, who I met for a couple of minutes, logically I shouldn't feel guilty for rejecting a stranger living in my home.

Fauster: "I guess Derek had an impact on me, maybe a little."

That stupid protagonist friend of mine disgusting kindness of his is rubbing onto me. I guess that's one of Derek best feature.

Fauster: "He truly bring the bests out of others..."
