6. Private Chat #4

Date: Aug. 12, 2015

[Anakin has entered a private chat]

[Anakin has invited Tony to the private chat]

Tony: so, I'm assuming you successfully saved the chatroom from dying?

Anakin: (sighs) for now. It's running on the backup system I made last night. I won't be able to fix it completely until I get back home. I would have made the backup system sooner, if it wasn't for Emily dragging me along to go sight-seeing with her kids

Tony: how'd you manage to stop the chatroom from deleting itself?

Anakin: yea, about that.... That probably wasn't one of my better ideas when making the chatroom. I made it that way on purpose so if someone, specifically the Sith or something, tried to break into the system, then the chatroom would start to "disassemble" itself and delete all of our chats

Tony: but why delete all of our chats?

Anakin: just so no one could try to blackmail us or anything

Tony: so, how much were you able to save?

Anakin: all of it actually. Because I got to it so quick, the system hadn't started to delete the past chats yet. All I had to do was bypass all the admin security codes to stop the process

Tony: dang it! I was kinda hoping you would say the ones where I fangirled had been deleted

Anakin: (laughs) oh right, those chats...

Tony: don't you dare it any ideas!!

Anakin: I won't, I promise

Tony: so, do you even know who tried to hack into the chat?

Anakin: no idea, but I did get the location of the hacker-- a place called Fiji. Doesn't exist in my universe, so it's probably in this one

Tony: Fiji...hmm, that reminds me of something...How soon will the normal group chat be up and running?

Anakin: depending on when I get back home, within a day minimum. Why?

Tony: I have a hunch, but I will have to discuss it with the others first

Anakin: what kind of hunch?

Tony: it's SHIELD related business, not exactly stuff that people outside of SHIELD should know

Anakin: and to think that you were going to reveal all of SHIELD's secrets at one point

Tony: I still kinda want to, but Fury had someone make a better security system than what they had before. And he also made me promise to not talk about what is happening inside the organization to other people, otherwise he said he'd put a restraining order on me

Anakin: so, who is this "someone" that programmed the better security system?

Tony: (disgusted) Jayla

Anakin: (surprised) Jayla can program?!?! Since when?!

Tony: who knows when she learned, but she is just as good as I am, and I have, like, twenty more years than her in experience!!

Anakin: sounds like you're jealous

Tony: no, I'm-- (sighs). You want to know a secret I have never told anyone? I've been jealous of everything Jayla can do ever since I met her. I mean, it's amazing how she knows so much and has ice powers to top it all off

Anakin: wait a minute, do you like Jayla?

Tony: yea, but I knew she'd never go for a guy like me, especially since I am nothing like Steve

Anakin: true, but you're awesome in your own way. Forget what Steve is like. You're a mastermind at inventing technology, and he missed seventy years of it

Tony: (chuckles) yea, he did, but I will say I am surprised at how quick he caught up with everything

Anakin: we should probably get off. The backup chat can only hold so much memory

Tony: time for some Halo?

Anakin: you bet!!

[Tony and Anakin have left the chat]
