It's been hard living alone in my empty castle. When my family was alive, it used to seem alive and joyful. Now, it's just gloomy. But, I've tried to make it as lively as I could. I put old pictures that didn't burn on the walls, I put an ash full carpet in my room, I made a broom out of straw and wood, and lots of other things. It was hard, because everything that I saved from the fire reminded me of my family.

After I finished my apple, I went upstairs to my room. It had a blue carpet for my bed, a white carpet, a pile of some books, some paper and pencils, and a somewhat burnt blanket on my bed.

I hopped on the bed. I landed on something. I pulled it out from under me. It was a stuffed, baby blue, baby alicorn. I hugged it. It used to be my baby brothers. I hugged it even tighter.

I heard scuttling outside my door. I opened it. It was a mouse. I smiled and picked it up with one hoof. Then, I closed the door and sat on my bed. The mouse looked up at me. He had eyes unlike any mouse I had ever seen. They were blue.

"Hi little guy." I cooed. "I love your eyes." He squeaked. I smiled. "Now, what can I call you... Cheese?" He shook his head. "Mouse?" The mouse banged his head on my hoof. I laughed. I then thought for a minute. "Blue?" He jumped up and down. "I'll take that as a yes."

Then, suddenly, Blue jumped off my hoof and sprinted out the door. "Hey! Wait up!" I ran after him.

I soon found him by the door the leading outside, waiting for me. He cocked his head toward outside. I looked outside. I thought of how ponies would freak out once they knew there was another alicorn.

I shook my head. "I can't. Too many ponies will freak out."

Blue flattened his ears and looked at me again. His big blue eyes looked so sad.

Thats when i realized something. Ive been stuck alone in this castle for years, scared of being discovered. Well, that will be no more. I will go to the nearest town and make my appearance.

I went upstairs and found one of my clothes and put it on. It covered up my wings. i looked like a unicorn now. Then i brushed my blue mane and tail, and packed my bag. I put in food, water, my camera, matches, money, a notebook, pencil, and my stuffed alicorn. Then, Blue jumped in, with his little head sticking out.

I looked at the doorway, leading outside. I then took a deep breath, and walked outside.
