Hi! This is, obviously, the author of this book. I know you all probably just want to get started, but there's unfortunately some disclaimers I want to get through first. You don't have to read this, but I would recommend it so you don't get a nasty surprise.
You are probably assuming that this is just a Harry Potter fanfiction in which I insert an OC, which it is, but it's also a little different from that. This isn't just a fanfiction, it is also a project where I challenged myself to write Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone as if I had written it, as well as from a different perspective. This means that there are many tweaks and changes that I have made. However, the plot is mostly the same, albeit a few story beats being altered or made to appear at an earlier or later date. The themes of this book are also different too, being more grungy and more focused on the dark academia and witchcraft motifs that are present in the books already.
In case you're worried that I've removed or replaced an adored character, please do not worry! I have kept all the canon characters in the story the same, including Mr.Potter himself. This story just isn't from his POV. Although, he's still heavily involved with the plot.
