When you started to wake up, pain was the first thing you registered.
The aches in your body were unfathomable. Agonizing.
You didn't want to open your eyes yet, whincing as you shifted on...a soft surface? It was kind of lumpy, but it felt like a mattress. You squinted your eyes open slightly to take a peek. Sure enough, you laid on top of a mattress with a couple of pillows as well as a blanket draped over you.
After a moment of contemplation, you braced yourself as you began to sit up. It was every bit as painful as you expected it to be. Your bruised sides erupted with pain, and as you sat up, that was when you realized you had no clothing. Nothing covering you other than this thin blanket. There were a few other things you took notice of too. When you tried to move, you heard metal clanking and a tug at your wrist. Snapping your head down, you saw that your wrists were indeed handcuffed to the metal bars of the headboard. The chain was long enough to allow you to sit up a bit and move a little, but not get off the bed. You tugged it again, testing it.
Yeah. That's not going to budge anytime soon.
Your gaze trailed up your arm as you noticed there was a bandage wrapped around it, where it had been sliced open before. This prompted you to take in the state of the rest of your body, and sure enough, other parts were bandaged as well. Your ankle had definitely swollen, but it had been wrapped up securely as well. Your right arm, the one you used to elbow the car window, was wrapped up too.
When you tried to move a little, scoot up a bit on the bed, your blood ran cold. You felt something leak out of your ass. You tore the blanket fully away from your waist and gasped, now taking in the damage you had wanted to just pretend never happened.
That bastard tended to your wounds, bandaged you up, but didn't fucking deem it necessary to clean you out?! Actually, no; the fact that he came inside you is bad enough on its own! When had that even happened? You could barely remember the events that occurred before you passed out. It was fuzzy, and the bits that did flood back made you cringe in shame and embarrassment.
Out of everything that happened, there was one thing that left you the most confused. Why weren't you dead? He hadn't killed you before... all that. But he hasn't killed you afterwards either. He had his fun with you, didn't he? And now you were... You jangled the chain slightly-
His captive.
What was his plan? Was he going to torture you until he inevitably got bored of you? He's got to kill you eventually, right? Maybe you could do something after all. You were still alive, so that meant that you still had a chance to make it out of this. At least that's what you were telling yourself. It was a flimsy pep talk at best, but at least it was something to cling to. You couldn't give up now.
You looked around and took in the rest of the room. There were no windows. It was pretty empty too—concrete walls, one light bulb dangling from the ceiling with its cords bare. The bed was the only piece of furniture there. Everything looked a bit dusty, like no one had been down here for a while and it had only been haphazardly cleaned. If you had to guess, it felt like a basement. Maybe a storage room of some kind. There was nothing you could do for now but wait in anticipation. Someone was bound to come at some point.
When they did, though, you had scooted back as much as you could into the corner of the bed against the wall, as far away from the door as possible. You pulled the blanket up. It was your only cover. The only thing protecting you from being fully exposed. After some time, you heard the door click.
From where you sat, you could see the person's legs as they descended the steps down to the room. The first things that came into view were a pair of beat-up Converse and jeans. Then a sweater. Then that familiar 'face' with that mask and those goggles. So he was still going to keep his face hidden, even now. Well, you had no real reason to care. You wouldn't give him the satisfaction of your curiosity.
