After the dinner with Kano-san and Elizabeth, I made sure to drop by the supermarket to stock up some groceries.
Elizabeth helped out by accompanying Kano-san back to her house since she's still foreign around the area.
I'll have to thank Elizabeth again, once I have the chance.
Grabbing a cart, I am off hunting for my necessity. Some vegetables, dairy products like milk and butter, and packaged beef throwing them all into the cart.
The mental note of everything I needed was eventually crossed out, until the only thing left out was some sauce.
Call me lucky because there's only one bottle left.
The reason why I'm buying it is because this bottle of sauce, is the Salsa Valentina. A Mexican hot sauce that I can't seem to get enough of and it's truly a work of art.
My hand were a hair breadth away from touching the bottle before a small hand enters my peripheral and both of our hand halted.
Seems like someone also have a great taste just like I do, but I'm not giving it up for anybody.
???: "Ah, were you also going for the Valentina sauce?"
Turning to look at my competitor, I can see they were incredibly short barely reaching my shoulders.
She looks similar to someone I know...
Fauster: "My hand wouldn't be reaching for it if I didn't want it."

???: "Bah, you should have it child. I can wait for the store to stock it up again tomorrow."
Well if she's offering, I'm not going to let the chance go and graciously place the product in my cart delicately.
???: "You have a good eye child, vegetables are very fresh, and high grade beef, the cheap kind too."
Well I guess coming from her, she definitely have some experience with food and know the uses of good cheap beef.
