Chapter 27: New Addition

After saying those words, Issei didnt recieve anymore words as there was a long pause from the Welsh Dragon. He didn't know what was going on inside of the Sacred Gear, but he got the feeling that Ddraig was trying his best to not subconsciously strangle him.

Ddraig: ["I hate you, I hate you so much..."]

Issei merely chuckled.

Issei: "Love you too, big guy.... No homo"

Ddraig: ["Yeah, yeah. Whatever, partner"]

With that out of the way, Issei went back to eating the slice of pizza that was in his hand. While he was doing that with a laid-back attitude on the outside, inside was completely different because he was in fact, thinking of something and that something was what occurred at the abandoned church when he rescued Asia.

One moment, he was getting ready to go in guns blazing to save Asia, and the next moment, he found himself outside with said blonde and everyone else telling him that he appearantly created a clone of himself using his doppelganger style.

He didn't plan on doing that, well, not very anyways because he wanted to draw Freed out of the church. He knew that psycho priest wouldn't be able to not have a grudge held against him for taking his arm, but appearantly from what Trish and Lady told him, he was fighting him while his doppelganger rescued Asia.

Something was going on him. Issei knew that this wasn't normal because it wasn't the first time that it had happened. He believed that the first one was probably a coincidence, but after what had occurred, it was safe to say that these were hy no mere pure coincidences.

Something was going on. Something that neither Issei nor Ddraig have any knowledge of because the Welsh Dragon can't seem to be able to access any of the brown-haired boys' memories of the events. Whatever the case, it was something out of their control, and Issei needed to figure out what was going on before it happened again.

The last thing he needs is to end up somewhere he doesn't know.

Issei: "Hmmm..."

He took another bite of his slice of pizza, and before long, he had fully finished thrvslice and was about to reach over for the next one when all of a sudden...

KNOCK!! KNOCK!! KNOCK!!

Issei perked up at the sound of knocking, turning his head over in the direction of the front door.

Issei: "Huh, I wonder who that could be..."

Ddraig: ["I hope it's not Tiamat...."]

Issei raised an eyebrow. Seriously, who or what was Tiamat?

The brown-haired boy stood up from his chair and began to make his way over to the front door as he began to sense something from the other side, and it was supernatural. The closer he got to it, the more familiar that the energy became.

He then let out a small chuckle and shook his head.

Issei: "Of course..."

He reached out and grabbed a hold of the doorknob, opening the front door with a smile on his face.

Issei: "Good morning, Rias"

Standing before him was Rias, who held a surprise expression as she was wearing her Kuoh Academy school uniform.

Rias: "How did you....?"

Issei: "How did I know? It's actually quite simple, really..."

He leaned up against the door frame and looked at her with an amused grin, crossing his arms.
