Dazai chuckled at Chuuya's comment.
"You would know about that, wouldn't you, Chuu?"
Chuuya clenched his jaw at the nickname. - "Shut it, Dazai"
Mori pinched the bridge of his nose, obviously already fed up with these two.
"Can we focus, please? I don't want to waste all day listening to the disseminator of discontent playing on angry chihuahua's nerves!"
Chuuya's face flushed with anger at Mori's comment.
"Did you just call me a chihuahua?" - he spat
Dazai chuckled.
"Oh, how original, Chūya being compared to a small dog, how amusing"
Mori raised an eyebrow, clearly sensing the tension in the room.
"Yes, let's get back on track, shall we?"
Kunikida cleared his throat and spoke up.
"We need to get the two of them to actually communicate with each other"
Chuuya rolled his eyes.
"Good luck with that, they're both stubborn as mules"
Dazai smirked.
"Oh come on, Chūya, where's your sense of optimism?"
Chuuya shot him a glare.
"My sense of optimism died the moment you were born"
Mori chuckled lightly at Chuuya and dazai's bickering, clearly amused by the two of them
Kunikida sighed in frustration.
"Alright, let's be serious for a moment. How the hell are we going to get those two to actually talk and work this out? Akutagawa and Atsushi... say something, it's your business after all"
Both Akutagwa and Atsushi tensed slightly at the sudden attention on them. They exchanged a quick glance before Akutagawa spoke up
"I don't see the point in sharing why we have a dislike for each other. It's not like you will understand anyway" - he said, his tone sharp and cold...
Chuuya rolled his eyes at Akutagawa's attitude.
"Oh, so you're going to be difficult, huh? Typical"
Dazai smirked, clearly enjoying the tension.
"Yeah, why don't you just tell us, Akutagawa? It's not like it would kill you"
Akutagawa clenched his jaw, clearly irritated.
"Fine"- he said through gritted teeth
"I dislike him because he's incompetent, unreliable, and a complete waste of space"
Atsushi visibly bristled at the insult, his hands clenching into fists.
Chuuya rolled his eyes.
"Gee, way to sugarcoat it, Akutagawa"
Dazai smirked.
"And what's your response to that, Atsushi?" he asked, looking at the younger boy
Atsushi clenched his teeth, clearly holding back his anger.
"I dislike him because he's a cocky, arrogant bastard who only cares about himself. He treats me like dirt and never gives me any respect! He also always tries too kill me but fails! He looks like an teenage boy in his emo era!"
