You were starting to regret the communicator feature Tails helped install into your head. Sonic and Amy would text you constantly. Forgetting that it would give you headaches. Or they didn't know. You cared for them, you really did, but holy shit. They eventually calmed down at least, letting you be rid of the never ending headaches. But group chats?

You were alone building your house this time. Sonic was on a run, as usual, and Tails was making modifications on his plane. Otherwise known as the Tornado. You made significant progress. The outside walls were finished and painted. (You only painted them cause you were tired of the endless hammering of nails.)
You were content. Finishing the staircase that led to the second floor and starting with those outside walls. Everything was peaceful. You even finished what would be your bedroom and plopped a Chao tree in there for Scarlet to sleep on. The melodies of the wind rustling around leaves, flickys singing, and the occasional notification. It was nice. The sun gave you warmth and even distracted you from the onslaught of notifications you were receiving.
