Chapter 24

"How's your new family? They seem nice. Hope you haven't been making any promises. Can't have you be making the same mistakes right?" I sarcastically ask as I crossed my arms and took a threatening step closer.

He stares down at me with annoyance slowly flickering into the eyes I use to trust and love. He clenches his jaw,

"Stop talking like that." He lowly says. Anger had completely washed away any benefit of the doubt inside me. Red was all I was seeing, it was blinding me. I mockingly chuckle as I rolled my eyes,

"You know I wouldn't be surprised if I find out I had more siblings since you do enjoy whoring around." He scowls and grits his teeth as he began to take deep breaths to ease his frustration. He whispers,

"Don't talk to me like that." He scowls.

"M-Minjj I am s-sorry. Oh my God. Let me-" I cut him off,

"Get out." I whisper.

"Please let me just-" I swiftly lift up my head with tears rapidly flowing down my cheeks as I stared at him in betrayal and anger.

"I said get the hell out or I will call the damn police!!" I scream out. Locking my eyes that were full of tears, hurt, pain, and defeat into the ones that haunts me every night. He stares at me silently before slowly nodding his head and turning away after whispering,

"I'm sorry."

Watching his leaving figure I quickly slam the door shut and instantly felt my legs give up, causing me to land hard on my knees on the floor as I cradled my cheek as a loud excruciating cries escaped my throat.

I slammed my hands on my chest as if it would remove the agonizing pain I was feeling. I was suffocating being near him. Everything was hurting. My breath was shortening and my heart was tightening.

This pain was causing my throat to crave for a familiar burning sensation to numb it all.

I swiftly go to our fridge and grabbed a bottle of vodka and began to drown it down my throat. I swallow and clench my eyes tight as I began to cough heavily.

I'm unloved.

Unwanted.

I roughly wipe away my tears as I tried to hold in my sob but continued to fail. I take another swig before wiping my lips and hissing as the alcohol had burnt my cut on my lip.

Unloved.

Unwanted.

I continued to cry out the torment inside me as I drank until I could no longer process my surroundings. Things were crashing, blood was shedding, cries were echoing through out the room.

And before I knew it.

Everything went black.

Haerin's POV:

I huff tiredly as I unlocked the door of our dorm while nodding my head as I was on the phone with Niki again for the third time this day.

Aish this kid..

"Okay I just got home-uh huh-you too, bye." Without waiting for a response I immediately ended the call and shoved it into to my pocket as I entered the dorm. I haven't been able to say the three special words in a while, it didn't feel right.

"I'm home!" I yell out as I began to remove my shoes. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion as the silence was welcoming me.

Looks like they're not home yet.
