Yunjin took a bite of the cookie, her eyes sparkling with appreciation. "Perfect now that we have these. It’s been a nice, relaxing weekend, honestly."

Y/n nodded in agreement, savoring the cookie. "Yeah, we've just been hanging out and trying to figure out gift ideas for Eunchae. That’s the most important thing we’ve got going on."

Her mom raised an eyebrow, clearly interested. "For Eunchae’s birthday? I remember last year you had a hard time picking out a gift for her, too."

Y/n groaned and flopped back onto the bed. "Don’t remind me, Mom. I’m struggling again."

Yunjin gave her a teasing look. "Don’t worry, Y/n. I’m sure you’ll figure it out. Just think about what she’d like the most."

Y/n’s mom chuckled softly, watching the two of them. "You two remind me of how I used to be with my friends when I was your age. The more you care about someone, the harder it is to get them the perfect gift. But you’ll figure it out, I’m sure."

Yunjin nodded, smiling at the wisdom. "Yeah, I think we just need to relax and think about it. I’m sure whatever Y/n decides will be great."

Y/n rolled her eyes, smirking. "See, even Yunjin thinks I’m overthinking it. Thanks for the vote of confidence, Mom."

Her mom just laughed, giving her a quick hug before standing up to leave. "Alright, I’ll leave you two to figure it out. But remember, if you need more cookies for inspiration, just let me know."

Yunjin waved her goodbye, grabbing another cookie. "Thanks, Mrs. Y/l/n! These are perfect."

Y/n's mom chuckled. "You're always welcome, Yunjin. Enjoy!" And with that, she exited the room, leaving the two girls to continue their discussion.

As soon as the door closed, Yunjin looked over at Y/n with a mischievous smile. "Okay, so... about that gift for Eunchae..."

Y/n groaned and tossed the pillow at her. "Don't even start."

"Come on, if you're going to figure it out, at least make a list or something." Yunjin suggested.

Y/n leaned back on her bed, tapping her chin thoughtfully as Yunjin sat next to her, both of them surrounded by the scattered remnants of their impromptu brainstorming session.

"Come on, if you’re really going to figure this out, at least make a list or something," Yunjin urged, rolling her eyes playfully at Y/n's evident struggle.

Y/n grabbed her phone, opening a new note, and started typing. "Alright, first idea... Clothes?"

Yunjin raised an eyebrow and shook her head. "Too basic. Try again."

"Okay, okay," Y/n said, typing away again. "Charms? Like those cute little ones you can hang on your phone or bag?"

Yunjin made a face, swiping the phone out of Y/n’s hand. "Do better. She’s 18, not 16. You’ve got to step it up."

Y/n sighed dramatically, her brain running in circles. "Uhh... Wine?" She grinned mischievously, hoping to get a rise out of her.

Yunjin’s eyes widened in mock horror. "Y/n!" She slapped her arm playfully. "That’s illegal!"

Y/n burst into laughter. "Hey, she is 18 now, technically she could. Besides, it’s just an idea!"

"Not a good one!" Yunjin chuckled, shaking her head in disbelief. "Okay, maybe we need to go back to the drawing board. We can’t just get her something random, you know?"

Y/n flopped back onto her bed with an exaggerated sigh, dropping her phone onto the blanket. "This is impossible," she groaned. "How come when it’s for you, I never have trouble picking out gifts? I just know what you want."
