The first Glance!

Start from the beginning

I couldn't hold back my excitement. "Vasudev Krishna, you are real!" I exclaimed.

Krishna laughed heartily, his eyes sparkling. "What did you think? Who do you think has been writing you those letters all these years?"

I couldn't suppress my grin. "So, do you accept my friendship, Parth?" he teased.

I nodded eagerly. "Who could miss such a chance!" I replied, both of us laughing in unison.

But despite the joyful greeting, my heart longed for one person. Subhadra. Where was she?

"Mata, where is Subhadra?" Kunti asked, disturbing my thoughts. I was desperate for an answer.

Mamashree smiled knowingly. "She must be in her garden. I will call for her," he said.

However, Mata suggested that we go to the garden ourselves. As we made our way toward it, Krishna intervened with a smile. "Bua, brothers, the garden we are heading to is Subhadra's personal sanctuary. It is the most beautiful place in all of Dwarka, and she alone tends to it."

When we arrived, my breath was taken away. The garden was, indeed, the most exquisite place I had ever seen. Every corner seemed to radiate with life and beauty. Dwarka itself was a marvel, but this garden—this space—was beyond words. It felt as though we had stepped into another world.

Then, I heard the faint sound of anklets—a soft tinkling sound that grew closer with each passing second. My heart raced. Was it really her?

And then, she appeared.

Subhadra stood among the flowers, playing with them as butterflies danced around her. Her back was to us at first, but as she turned to face us, it felt as if the entire world paused. Time seemed to stop in that moment.

Her beauty was otherworldly. How could someone be so beautiful? Her long, wavy hair flowed like silk, cascading down her back. Her large, lotus-shaped eyes were captivating, their depth seeming to draw me in further. Her lips curved into a soft, welcoming smile that made the world feel brighter. She wore minimal jewelry, yet she radiated an enchanting aura that was impossible to ignore. She gave out a fragrance that of a blue lotus perciebvable from miles away. There was a playful glint in her eyes, a mischievous sparkle that only added to her charm. Her figure was slender, her blue lehenga flowing gracefully as she moved, and her skin shimmered, almost as if it reflected the very moonlight itself. Her beauty was such that she had no equal on Earth.

At first, I had thought that the bards and soldiers exaggerated her beauty, but now, standing before her, I realized their words didn't do her justice

At first, I had thought that the bards and soldiers exaggerated her beauty, but now, standing before her, I realized their words didn't do her justice. Her beauty was beyond anything I had ever imagined.

She walked toward us, and my gaze remained fixed on her, unable to look away. Nakul's voice brought me back to reality, snapping me out of my daze.

"Pranipat! I am Krishnaa Subhadra. You must be the Pandavas!" she greeted us with a smile that seemed to light up the entire garden. Her voice was the sweetest melody, and when she hugged Mata, the affection between them was visible.

Mata, after returning the embrace, turned to Mamashree. "Who is the lady standing beside her?" she asked, pointing to another young girl.

"This is Vrinda, Subhadra's sairandhri and her closest friend," Mamashree explained.

Vrinda smiled and greeted us warmly, and we returned the gesture, all of us intrigued by the bond the two shared.

Subhadra then moved toward Bhrata Yudhishthir. "Pranipat, Rajkumar Yudhishthir!" she said respectfully.

Yudhishthir was taken aback. "How did you recognize me? We've never met," he asked.

With a chuckle, Subhadra replied, "The one with the calm, composed posture, a serene smile adorning his face, and the shine of Dharma reflecting on his features—he must be the eldest Pandava." She touched his feet with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

She greeted each of my brothers in the same gracious manner. And then, she finally turned to me.

My heart was pounding in my chest. My hands were clammy, my thoughts jumbled. "Pranipat, Rajkumar Arjun," she said, her voice soft yet confident. "I've heard much about you from Bhrata Krishna. It's an honor to meet you."

I smiled, still nervous but trying to maintain my composure. "The honor is mine, Princess Subhadra."

Just as she bent to touch my feet, I instinctively reached out and gently took her arm to stop her. The moment our hands touched, an electric current ran through me, sending a shock down my spine. Her skin was as delicate as a lotus petal.

And then, without warning, Subhadra fainted.
