The Realization

Hey, I'm back. Sorry to have kept you waiting - BUT - here is the next part. Hope you enjoy!!!

"Wait, I know that voice.", Keefe said, trying to place it.

"Yes, I believe you do.", Sophie said, pulling down her hood.

"Foster!?", Keefe asked shocked.

Sophie didn't reply though, she only dropped Fitz and leaped away.

When Sophie got back to the Neverseen base, she sighed. Seeing Keefe again had been harder than she thought it would be. She turned the corner to go to her room when she ran into her brother, Gethen. "Oh hey Gethen, anything new?", she asked him yawning.

"Uh, actually yeah. Can you come with me Soph?", Gethen said, scratching his head in that way that people do when something's wrong.

"Ok...ummm, let's go I guess.", Sophie replied confused.

Gethen led her down a few hallways to the lab. Sophie had no idea why he wanted her in the lab or what was wrong, but she trusted him so she kept following.

He grabbed her wrist and strapped a cord to it. Sophie was shocked that her brother was trying to experiment on his own sister. She struggled yelling out for him to stop, "Gethen, what are you doing!?!? Are you really going to experiment on your own sister? I'm not your lab rat you jerk!"

"Soph, relax. I think that you might have a new talent and I wanted to test that theory but I knew you wouldn't willingly let me run a test or two on you so I took matters into my own hands. Please don't hate me, I am sorry. Ok? You're still my sister and I still love and would do anything for you.", Gethen told her casually.

"Oh you're so dead! I do hate you!!! I'm going to beat the crap out of you later!!!!!", Sophie yelled, still struggling.

"Yeah, I figured as much. See, that's what I love about you, you're such a great Neverseen member. You're always threatening people, making good on your threats too! You're way better off as a dangerous rebel than a goodie two shoes Black Swan member. They never deserved you, I hope you know that. We will get them back for taking you from us!", Gethen answered, starting out jokingly and ending seriously.

"Yeah, yeah, now tell me, what's this new talent of mine?", Sophie asked impatiently, changing the subject faster and smoother than anyone before.

"Ah right, so the test came back affirmative, and you are officially a conjurer. Congrats sis!", Gethen cheered, smiling.

"Wait really? This is perfect, Gisela was just saying the other day how great it would be if I was a conjurer! This will be awesome for our upcoming missions.", Sophie said excitedly.

"Well, I'm happy for you, shall we go tell everyone else?", Gethen asked her happily.

"Yes! Let's go, let's go, let's go!!! This awesome!!!!!", Sophie exclaimed, jumping for joy.
