"WAKE UP!"

I snapped out of bed at the loud voice and I turned to the source of the voice. My best friend, Justin was standing there, grinning at me. I punched Justin in the stomach and he grunted in pain. "Ow!"

"What is wrong with you?!" I yelled. I hated being woken up...

"What is wrong with you." He mocked me in an annoying girly voice. I glared at him. "Sorry..."

I rolled my eyes. "How did you get in this house?" I asked him curiously.

"Your mom let me in." He replied, sitting on the edge of my bed.

"Ugh. Why?"

"You know, your words are really hurting me right now."

I sighed and patted him on the back. "Man up." I turned my head over to my bedside table and looked at my digital clock. It was seven o'clock a.m. and it was Monday morning, which meant school started in an hour.

"Get out so I can get ready." I said.

"Alright, Princess." He said, walking out of my room.

I sighed and got out of my bed. I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and washed my face. I took a shower and washed my hair. When I got out of the shower, I wrapped a towel around myself. I blow dried my hair and it quickly turned back into its naturally wavy form.

I walked back to my room and changed into a light blue sweatshirt, white ripped jeans, and black high top converse.

I grabbed my back pack and walked out of my room. Nick usually drives us to school everyday. I stopped in front of his closed door and banged on it with my fist. "What?!" He yelled.

"Uh. Did you forget you have to drive us to school?" I said through the door.

My brother opened the door and walked down the stairs. I followed him down. Nick grabbed his keys. Carter soon came running down the stairs. I furrowed my eyebrows at his choice of clothes.

Carter was wearing his plaid dress shirt, black slacks, black and white sneakers, and a black bow tie. "Why are you dressed like that? You're going to school, not church." I informed him.

He smiled. "Cuz. Suzy and I are having a lunch date today." He said.

I rolled my eyes. Carter thinks he's been dating this girl named Suzy in his fourth grade class, but they aren't even really dating. They just eat lunch together. "And I kissed her yesterday."

Justin grinned. "Good job man." He gave Carter a high five.

My eyes went wide. "Carter you're in the fourth grade, you don't need to be kissing girls." I said.

Carter shrugged. "Too late."

"Alright. Can you kids stop talking and just get in the car." Nick said with an annoyed tone.

I didn't even bother fighting back because quite frankly, I didn't wanna hear anymore crap coming from his mouth.

So Justin, Carter, and I went outside and got into Nicks car. I can't wait till I'm sixteen and old enough to drive so I can get away from this crazed family whenever I want. I have my learners permit, but it's not good enough!

When Nick got to Carters elementary school, Carter straightened his bow tie and got out of the car. Nick then drove Justin and I to our high school.

"Get out." He demanded.

I glared at Nick. "Yeah, because Justin and I were just gonna sit here and not get out." I said sarcastically.

"Whatever." Nick said before Justin and I got out of the car.
