What if Annabeth Chase Was Gifted Immortality

PART ONE

Annabeth stood in the throne room of Olympus.  She was said to be a hero for returning the Athena parthenos . She knew it wasn't true. She had help. Percy stands next to her. He had helped  in so many ways. Annabeth watches as Zues, king of the gods,stands up.

“Annabeth chase, if you choose, we will grant you the gift of immortality”
Annabeth hides her surprise. She looks at Percy standing next to her. He seems to be just as shocked as she is. She feels a twinge of regret. But this opportunity is too great to pass up. Annabeth steps forward. “I would be honored”

Annabeth chase, Goddess of architecture, looks back at Percy. She sees the betrayal written all over his face. She doesn't understand why he feels betrayed. He should be happy for her

Percy Jackson watches as Annabeth accepts her gift of godhood. He can't help but feel betrayed. He knows he should be happy for her but he knows how she will change. It's just the way of the gods.

Annabeth Chase has been a goddess for 1 week. She can't believe how easy it is. No monsters, no pain. She is living like a goddess should. She feels an emptiness for not saying goodbye to her friends. But she has been busy learning.

Percy Jackson has been alone for 1 week. He wishes Annabeth at least said goodbye to him. Camp half blood brings too many memories back to him. He packs his items and starts for camp Jupiter. A picture of Annabeth flutters off the wall as he closes his door.

Percy Jackson arrives at Camp Jupiter 3 days later. The centuries on duty immediately let him in. Reyna is surprised to see him. She listens as he tells her his predicament.
Percy Jackson feels the unfamiliar meatal of his spear. He has joined the legion. He trains along With Hazel and frank. He feels like this is the right place to be.

Percy Jackson stands in front of the camp as they promote him to Praetor. He has fought hard alongside his cohort. Reyna smiles at him as she claps along with the others. He smiles back

Annabeth is walking up half-blood hill. She has decided she needs to say goodbye to her friends. Especially Percy. Chiron greets her as she stands by the campfire. She looks at all her fellow campers. They now look at her with admiration and a little bit of fear. She scans the crowd for ocean eyes. She doesn't find what she's looking for.

Percy Jackson has been alone for a month. He misses Annabeth but he loves his new family at camp Jupiter. He thinks of her from time to time. He mostly thinks of someone else. A girl with braided dark hair.

Annabeth searches for Percy at the camp. She does not find him. Travis stoll says he saw Percy leaving the camp. Annabeth knows where Percy went. She heads off to the roman camp.

Percy Jackson is walking with Reyna. He laughs and jokes with her. They sit down in The Field Of Mars together. Percy feels like he is doing something wrong. He pushes the feeling away. Annabeth left him, he is going to move on.

Annabeth arrives at the Roman camp. She is  pleased as the demigods pay their respects to her. She walks along the worn cobblestone path as she thinks. Will Percy even want to see her? She hopes so.

Percy Jackson sits with Reyna watching the sunset. He thinks about the offer she made to him when he first came to camp. Now he is a Praetor with her in his new home.

Annabeth Walks through the trees. She spots 2 demigods in the clearing.  don't seem to realize she is there. As she looks closer she recognizes Percy and Reyna. As they stand up Percy stumbles into Reyna's arms. Their laughter slowly turns into a kiss. Unaware of the Goddess in the trees behind them.

Annabeth watches as Percy kisses Reyna. She slowly walks away. She is sad, But she doesn't cry. She knew she chose this.
