Tenth Doctor X Reader

you weren't doing much just sitting in the control room on one of the many seats staring at the walls, the tiny windows that were lit up reminded you of stars. You could have just opened the door and looked outsides at the burning gas balls but you wanted to work your brain with your imagination, it may have looked boring but it was fun. 

The Doctor came out of his bedroom with a book all happily and yelling he turned around and looked at you staring at the wall completely out of it. The doctor just stood there examining you eventually he said your name 

"(y/n) what are you doing?" silence you started to shift a bit in your seat and rubbed your eyes and the Doctor whistled.

"Hello! (y/n) anybody in there?!" you looked over to him and blushed not noticing  he was there you got up and started talking to him.

"Sorry Doc was admiring your Tardis she is beautiful." you touched the console and smile.

"I love the tardis it's like she is almost real." the Doctor smiled at you and grabbed your hand 

"(y/n) she is real" you smiled at him and laughed a bit

"so where to next Doc?" 

"a vacation (y/n) a vacation" he pulled levers and pushed buttons he looked over to as you started to admire the Tardis more the doctor looked at you again and you looked at him smiling finally the Tardis had stopped. you opened the Tardis doors slowly it was a 1910 Masquerade ball you closed the door and turned towards the doctor 

"we are gonna have to change Doctor" you smiled at him and ran to his room pulling the Doctor with you. You grabbed a white button up shirt with little frills at the top, you then grabbed a black vest with gold linings, then grabbed black pants and a black jacket with golden buttons, and also grabbed a black bow tie and threw it on his bed. 

"alright now get changed" you started to run away and the doctor stopped you 

"(y/n) you sound like me!" 

"well you grow on people now chop chop change!" the doctor smiled at you and changed he walked out to the console room and waited for you. eventually you came out it a long black sparkly ball gown with two masks in hands your hair was curled and you put your mask on your face it was black and gray feather you threw the doctors mask to him and he put it on. The mask fit perfectly on his face you smiled you were proud of your work walked down towards the door and the doctor took your hand you both walked out of the doors and into the ball room.

The music was beautiful and some young gentleman had asked you to dance of course you said yes the doctor had taught you how to dance and kept you up to date. once the Doctor joined in you both danced together around the end of the song you two were laughing and went back to the Tardis you pulled off your masks and laughed some more. through the Rest of the ball and song the Doctor was making fun of snobby rich people. you both changed once you were tired and you went to the Doctors room who had wanted to stay up late with you. Finally it was about 1 am and you were both laughing and drifting through space you looked up to the doctor and spoke.

"Doctor? do you like someone?"   

"yes i do" he looked down at you 

"can you tell me?" you asked innocently grabbing a chip and eating it

"no but i can tell you about her" you gave him the puppy dog eyes and he looked away then back up 

"(y/n)......fine i'll tell you" you smiled and looked expectantly into the Doctors eyes. He grabbed the back of your head and kissed you on the lips you kissed back right away you put your hands in his hair and he moved his hands to your waist pulling you closer together. you both pulled away and smiled at eachother laughing for no reason.

"i love you Doctor"

"i love you too (y/n)"
