Adrian and Aurora did not officially start courting or dating as traditional, pure-blood customs would've expected. They were both just interested in having the other to snog in the common room or in hidden alcoves in the corridors whenever they were bored. She loved the feeling of having his hands on her body and magic sparking in the air.
At the end of the day, he was still just her friend. Just one she was attracted to and liked touching her.
Annoyingly, she did seem to have a bigger target on her with pranking whenever she was with Adrian. Fred and George Weasley seemed to appear out of thin air whenever the two Slytherins thought they had found a new hidden spot in the castle to enjoy some alone time together. Not even a couple minutes into their giggles and kisses would there be either a loud bang of fireworks or a foul scent of a stink bomb going off somewhere nearby.
It was enough to make anyone go mad.
Aurora Malfoy was a patient individual but enough was enough.
Adrian was vowing to get dirty with the Weasleys this Saturday at the Gryffindor versus Slytherin Quidditch match. There were whispers of Harry Potter being the team's new secret weapon as a Seeker.
Draco had loudly boasted in the Great Hall that morning at breakfast that he would be running underneath the boy who lived with a mattress in case he fell. The entire Slytherin table erupted into laughter.
Fred and George Weasley walked up to flank their Seeker. The Beaters smirked down at the seated serpents, "You only fear the unknown."
"Just wait until you see what a legend Harry is."
The groups held their tongue from saying more since Professor Flitwick made them return to their meals or disperse. Bianca and Aurora both had on matching emerald bows in their hair that flitted in the cold November air.
Down at the pitch, the players were flying through the air warming up before Madame Hooch made them shake hands in the middle. "Now I want a nice fair game, all of you." She seemed to be zeroed into Marcus Flint which earned hoots and hollering from the fans that were clad in silver and green. Graham Montague actually let out a loud whistle of appreciation that caused Theordore Nott and Blaise Zabini to laugh loudly, looking up to admire the older Slytherin's behavior.
Once all the players mounted their broomsticks, Madam Hooch gave a loud blast on her silver whistle, causing all 15 brooms to rise up, high into the air.
Like all Slytherin versus Gryffindor matches, it was a hard fight with lots of cheating (or bending of the rules as the emerald team liked to say). Lee Jordan was announcing the game which was annoying since he was obviously favoring his own house.
Halfway through the match she was screaming loudly as Adrian barreled down the pitch. "Slytherin in possession, Chaser Pucey ducks two Bludgers, two Weasleys, and Chaser Bell and speeds toward the-- wait a minute-- was that the Snitch?"
A murmur ran through the crowd as Adrian Pucey dropped the Quaffle, too busy looking over his shoulder at the flash of gold that had passed his left ear.
Harry Potter and Terence Higgs had seen it too. They both dove, neck and neck as they hurtled towards the flashing, gold Snitch. The crowd and rest of the team waited, holding their breath to see what would happen. "Someone stop him!" Aurora screamed as Harry Potter stuck his hand out.
WHAM! A roar of rage came from the Gryffindors as all of the Slytherins cheered as Marcus Flint had blocked Harry on purpose, causing the first year's broom to spin off course. Aurora and Draco jumped up and down together, her brother holding up a sign of Harry falling onto a mattress as he laughed.
