A year later, on Christmas Eve, Shuji found himself back at the same spot in front of the Christmas tree. He smiled to himself, remembering the strange boy who had given it to him last year.

He took out the snow globe from his bag and aligned it in front of the Christmas tree. He shook it; closed his eyes and made a wish.

As he opened his eyes—there again the same boy from last year. He looked taller and wore a slightly awkward grin.

"Woah. You still have it?" the boy asked.

Shuji blinked, surprised. "Siyempre!"

The older boy nodded, hands stuffed in his pockets. "I didn't think you'd keep it. Thought you'd throw it away or something."

Shuji hugged the globe close to his chest. "Why would I do that naman? It's like the nicest gift I've ever gotten."

The boy's smirk softened, and he looked down, his cheeks turning pink. "You're weird and.. adorable, you know that?"

"Thanks. And you're rude," Shuji shot back with a small pout.

The boy chuckled, scratching the back of his head.

"See you when I see you next year, pretty. Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas!" Shuji shouted as the boy immediately walked away when he greeted the younger.
