Brian arrived a day later, late at night. I felt a hand grab me. I jumped out of bed, held it and was just a breath away from tossing him to the floor. He held me hard from behind and called out.
"Cristal, baby, it's me," he whispered, kissed my shoulder.
"Brian, you could have killed me with a heart attack! Why didn't you just knock?" I asked, turned to hug him.
"I live here. I am home, beautiful," he chuckled, raised me.
"Welcome home, my love. I missed you," I whispered.
We made a rule there and then. We would always knock. We came up with the signature knock. Two taps at three intervals. Then I jumped astride Brian and he held me hard.
We kissed. His hands firmly held my butt while we kissed. I was losing my power of self. I was losing my independence. I enjoyed being with him. Now I depended on Brian. I was lost without him. I was unfulfilled without him. Was that the meaning of marriage?
I kissed Brian passionately, my legs wrapped round him. I felt he had missed me equally hard. I felt he needed me as desperately and I loved that. He sat, still with me round him.
"I missed you wife," he held my cheeks.
"I missed you too, baby. Don't leave me." I whispered, planted kisses on his lips.
"I won't. I missed working with you. Let me show you." Brian said, turned me on my back.
I felt his hand feel my front passionately. Hopefully, we wouldn't be apart any time soon. I sighed and moved back. I spoke of my love for a second then he got off me and got undressed.
"How did work go, my love?" I asked.
"Easy. But time seemed still. I was in a rush to get home to my wife," he said as I smiled.
"It feels great to have a family, my love." I whispered. "Your parents are good to me."
"They can see how much joy you bring me." He said smiling.
Brian helped me out of my night dress asking if I got rest. I asked to show him, saw his firm abs move as he laughed hard.
As I sat astride him, our fingers intertwined, I moved my hips and ground on him. I smiled the whole time, felt him moan and loved it.
So I pushed up the tempo, whispered my love and felt him close. I asked him to hold on. He sat up and grabbed my neck with his left hand. He worked from beneath. I sighed, buried my head in his neck and felt my tummy contract.
"Get there with me my love," I whispered, went hard.
Brian grabbed my butt and pulled it on himself hard. I breathed into his neck, my body sweating furiously. I felt his arms tightly round me.
"Damn it Cristal. You are my home," Brian said as we caught our breath.
"And you are mine." I whispered.
We talked for a while and planned our future. We needed a permanent place to live in. We had options that we would narrow down to our dream home. I ended up asleep in Brian's arms.
"I heard commotion last night, are you two okay?" Brian's father asked right after we came down for breakfast, hand in hand.
"We are fine. My wife almost tossed me in the air to break my back but, we are fine," Brian said while I stifled a laugh.
"Cristal can toss you in the air?" the mother asked, mouth open.
"Easily. I know she is beautiful and loving with me but she is a leopard when cornered." Brian said, looking at me with admiration.
"In my defense, I thought it was an invader. It's always hard to lower my guard," I smiled.
"Guard is good. We lost one of you yesterday." Brian's father said.
"Oh dear. Whom?" I asked, held my chest.
"Lawyer is dead. He wasn't even supposed to join Squad One," Brian's father said.
"He ... He was with Squad One?" I asked as I fought tears.
"He probably would have coordinated better with his Squad." Brian said, his hand rubbing my back.
A tear escaped my eye as they watched. Brian held my hand and gently stroked it. I had killed Lawyer and now felt guilty. But why had he aimed his stupid gun on my husband? Why?
