Joohyun hadn't expected to be addressed as Irene in so long,her throat dried out as the memories of her and that girl,who has the same name as the person infront of her,'Kang Seulgi'.The memories of that times,where and where Joohyun didn't have to carry the burden of her family's name.

At the end of their assigned task of preparing the bride,of course, it had to be Seulgi, who needed to place the wedding veil on Joohyun.Seulgi's hands slightly trembled as she picked up the veil,the weight of the tadk heavier than any she had carried before.She gently placed the fabric on the top of the person she lost because of her own cowardness.The soft fabric of veil symbolizing what had always been out of reach.

Soon, the maid who went to get the bouquet returned as she placed it in her hands, and they gently helped her stand up.

All four of them went outside along with the bride, who had no smile or joyous expression as she walked down the aisle to reach her groom.With every step forward, Joohyun felt further from herself, from Seulgi,from any possibility of the life she had once imagined.Her heart was heavy with the words,unsaid.with a future already decided for her.But it didn't mather.The crowd awaited,the groom awaited,and the life that had awaited already begun

In that silence, as she walked,away from everything she knew,she could feel Seulgi's presence behind her-just as constant,just as real-but no longer something she could reach.
