A small blush appeared on the purple drone's visor and she shyly brushed her hair out of her face. "Pfff- N you're such a dork."

"But I'm your dork!" N said, giving her a cheesy smile.

Uzi placed a hand on the side of his face and rubbed her thumb over his cheek. "Yeah you are."

N leaned into her palm, his tail wagging as he soaked in her touch.

That's when a certain little, tail gremlin decided to ruin the moment. "I hope you guys break up, you two are really sappy and gross."

Not a second later it was writhing on the ground trying to catch its breath as Uzi chocked it with her solver.

"Literally nobody asked you." She growled, clearly done with its shenanigans and N nearly chuckled at the amusing scene.

Then everyone froze when Khan's door opened and the mustached drone walked out. He stopped short and gave the scene an odd look, before shaking his head and addressing N. "Nori is ready to see you."

N's throat suddenly felt dry. This was it, the be all, end all. He shakily stood up and straightened out his jacket. "Thank you, Mr. Doorman." He was then taken by surprise when Khan gave him an encouraging pat on his shoulder.

He thought Khan distrusted him as much as his wife did. For good reason, since he killed a lot of his kind and got Uzi into many dangerous situations. But it was clear that N earned his trust, and the disassembly drone was grateful for the encouraging gesture.

When N entered into Khan's office he could've sworn the lights were dimmer, making the atmosphere more unnerving. He didn't have time to dwell on that when he saw Nori, who was sitting on the table, obviously too small to sit on the chair behind her. N would've found that amusing if he didn't know that would give him a one way ticket to see robo-god.

Nori used her solver to close the door behind N, catching him off guard. "Sit." She instructed bluntly.

N quickly obeyed and sat in the chair that was a bit small for his large size, but he didn't dare complain.

"So, you wanna continue dating my daughter?" Nori asked, breaking the suffocating silence.

  "Y-yes, m'am."

"And you started dating her, without mine or Khan's approval."

N's breath hitched. "Y-yeah-uh... it was kind of a quick decision, w-we were worried we didn't have much of a chance knowing the stakes we were in."

Nori narrowed her eyes, well-eye, and N grew worried that she was going to comment on that, but instead asked. "What makes you think you're good enough for Uzi?"

  "W-what?"

Nori repeated herself. "What make you think that you are good enough to date my daughter? What makes you think you can just waltz on into her life and just take her?"

Nori tapped the table with one of her claws as she waited for N's answer, who's core was whirring as he struggled with something to say.

N's shoulders slumped and he let out a defeated sigh, deciding to just be honest. "Honestly, I don't know. Uzi is brave, smart, and talented, and has no problem of being rebellious even if it means she gets hurt. While I...well, I'm none of those things, yet we still found each other. Uzi has changed my life, I don't know where I would be if we never met, but i doubt it's anything good. Your daughter, Nori, your daughter is amazing, and I know I don't deserve her." Then he stood up from his chair, suddenly gaining a boost of confidence. "But we are happy together regardless. I promise you, making Uzi unhappy is the last thing I would ever want to do. I'll make sure she's loved and cherished, you can count on me with that."
