Izuku scribbled down the date, then his signature. Finally nearly done with his report on the hijacking gone wrong case. From the corner of his eye he saw someone standing at the corner of his desk.
"Deku." The gruff voice said, placing a calloused hand in the corner of his desk to get his attention. Izuku only hummed, giving half his attention to the blonde man while he continued filing.
"There's another body. Stain is back." Katsuki said, his tone serious. Izuku froze. His hand gripping onto his pen like life depended on it, making his knuckles turn white. "One of the officers was found with multiple slash marks across his chest."
Izuku gritted his teeth at the information. Looking up at Katsuki with a scowl. "That mother fucker." Izuku hissed.
"Lieutenant Aizawa assigned us to the case, we're going now." Katsuki said. Once again Izuku froze. He had history with Stain. Back when he was a young officer he was nearly the victim of the cop killer, before he was able to outsmart the man and get away.
"Detectives! Come on!" They're lieutenant, Aizawa said. Speed walking down the hallway in his uniform to the elevator. With that Izuku quickly stood up, securing his gun at his waist and followed him, Katsuki right beside him.
They quickly drove to the crime scene. An alley way between an old warehouse and car motor shop, a regular place for cops to patrol. Izuku ducked under the crime scene tape, avoiding the random drug needles and molding litter on the ground.
"Hiryu Rin. Part of the Narcotics team. He was assigned here a few days ago to track some junkies terrorizing the area, but Stain got to him first." Mei Hatsume, the lead forensics scientist stated. Pushing her hair back with a gloved hand.
"Are we sure Stain returned? It could have been one of the junkies." Detective Tenya Iida asked, his brows furrowed. He also had history with Stain.
"The slash marks fit his m.o, and the fact it's a cop really pulls it together." Mei shook her head. Taking a picture of blood spatter on the nearby brick wall.
Izuku paused. Staring down at the now deceased officer. His blood boiled, how could someone do this and say it's in the name of justice? His attention was switched to a crime scene marker on the side. Walking over to it he bent at the knees and peered at it.
"Was this the weapon used?" He asked. Mei turned and walked over.
"Not the killing blow, but it yes. There was definitely a struggle. Rin probably tried to arrest the guy." Izuku clicked his tongue at Mei's words.
"Anything you find that we can catch the bastard on?" Katsuki grudges out. Arms crossed as he looked around.
"Besides the obvious on what you see, no." Mei replied. Putting the pocket knife in a small sanitary plastic bag, then in her brief case.
Just wrote this little snippet. Comment if it should actually continue. If no one does i'll just forget about it.
