You tell me to look up
at the stars high above
You tell me to crane my neck
up to the clouds that you love
I continue to look down
down at my dirty feet
down at my undying misery
Even while I eat.
Sorry, I'm not the right friend
not for you to say the least
You enjoy bird watching
while birds make me feel like a beast.
