Three

Oikawa groaned as he straightened his back, stretching a little in the process. He rubbed his eyes, which were strained due to the fact that he had been staring at his computer screen for a few hours straight. He knew he should have taken breaks but he couldn't help himself, continuously reading the fanfiction about him online.

That's right. It's the fanfiction that the fangirl was talking about earlier that day. He couldn't get [Name]'s words off his mind and it bothered him till no ends. After practice, he had talked to the fangirl and managed to get the website of the fanfiction, that if course in exchange for a picture with him. (Not that he really minded...)

Iwaizumi had joined him at the beginning but after a few chapters, his head started to spin and decided that fanfictions were not his cup of tea. He returned home, tasting a hint of repulsion in his mouth, leaving the brunette flirt to continue the ridiculously fluffy and pink fanfiction by himself.

As much as he felt somewhat freaked out by the fanfiction, he was also quite impressed how it was written. No wonder the girls are so smitten into these stories... He thought to himself. Even still, it's kind of creepy how they're writing about me in that way...Especially those scenes...

He then recalled talking to Kindaichi who, surprisingly, was in the same class as [Name]. The younger male had told him that she was quite mysterious herself and felt more like a new transfer student. She was a ghost in class, frequently absent; therefore it was difficult to know more about her.

He sighed and leaned back, falling on his futon right behind his low study table. He closed his eyes and couldn't stop thinking about what had happened earlier that day. He flipped over to his side, sighing for the umpteenth time.

[Last Name] [First Name], just what is going on?

Iwaizumi greeted his classmates with light nods as he made his way into his classroom with his school bag slung over his shoulder. As he walked over to his seat, he noticed his childhood friend, slumped over his table, groaning with heavy depression lines above his head.

"Oi," He kicked the leg of Oikawa's chair, jolting the brunette awake. Oikawa turned towards Iwaizumi, his face pale and dark eye bags hanging under his eyes. He managed a weak smile, his translucent soul slipping from his lips as he did so.

"Ah... Iwa-chan... Ohaiyo..." Oikawa said in a weak voice, so weak he sounded close to his death bed.

"What is wrong with you?!" Iwaizumi explained, taking a step back in surprise.

"What wrong, Iwa-chan?" Oikawa chuckled weakly. "You look like you've seen a ghost."

"I might as well have seen a ghost." The vice-captain exclaimed, putting down his bag. "Did you stay up all night reading the fanfiction after I left?"

"Haha... Yeah, I kind of did." Oikawa admitted, scratching the back of his head. "I got a little too hooked on to it."

"Honestly, you always get hooked on pointless things." Iwaizumi shook his head, pulling the chair before Oikawa's desk to sit.

"I can't help it. It bothers me." Oikawa confessed in a serious low voice. His eyes stared into a distance, dark and calculating, almost like a predatory animal's. Iwaizumi noticed the look in his eyes but said nothing. "[Last Name] [First Name], I want to know what is going on."

"Why should you?" Iwaizumi asked, snapping him out of the trace he subconsciously slipped into. "She has nothing to do with you anymore; you shouldn't dwell so much into businesses that doesn't concern you."
