The confession marked the beginning of a new chapter for Sarang and Jungkook. The dynamics in the mansion subtly shifted, with the others noticing the growing closeness between them. Though Jungkook had always been protective, his care for Sarang now carried a tenderness that even the other brothers couldn't ignore.

The next morning, the brothers were gathered in the kitchen. Jin was preparing breakfast while Taehyung and Jimin argued over who got the last pancake. Sarang entered, her long hair flowing behind her, and Jungkook followed close behind.

Jimin (grinning): "Well, well, look who's practically glued to each other now."

Sarang blinked in confusion, but Jungkook shot him a warning glare.

Taehyung (teasing): "Don't deny it, Jungkook. We all saw you sneaking glances at Sarang during dinner last night."

Jin: "Leave them alone. Sarang, do you want some pancakes?"

Sarang nodded, her cheeks flushed.

Sarang: "Yes, oppa. Thank you."

Namjoon (smirking): "Jungkook, you've been awfully quiet. Care to explain?"

Jungkook crossed his arms, his voice calm but firm.

Jungkook: "What's there to explain? I care about her, and that's all you need to know."

His blunt honesty left the room silent for a moment before J-Hope broke the tension.

J-Hope: "Well, as long as you don't forget we're all watching you, maknae. Sarang's our little sister, after all."

Jungkook rolled his eyes, but a faint smile tugged at his lips.

A Day Out

For the first time in months, the group decided to take a break and enjoy a day outside. They headed to a private estate owned by Namjoon, surrounded by lush gardens and a sparkling lake.

As the others relaxed by the water, Jungkook found Sarang sitting on a swing beneath a large oak tree.

Jungkook: "Do you like it here?"

She looked up, her smile radiant.

Sarang: "It's beautiful. I didn't know peace like this existed."

He sat on the swing beside her, his gaze soft.

Jungkook: "You deserve peace, Sarang. After everything you've been through, I'll make sure you have it."

Her eyes welled up with tears, but she quickly wiped them away.

Sarang: "I'm lucky to have you, Jungkook."

He reached out, gently brushing a strand of hair from her face.

Jungkook: "No, I'm the lucky one."

Unseen Danger

But peace was fleeting in their world. As the sun set, Namjoon's phone buzzed with an urgent message.

Namjoon (serious): "We have a problem."

The atmosphere shifted immediately.

Yoongi: "What's wrong?"

Namjoon: "The rival mafia group has been tracking us. They know we're here."

Jungkook's jaw clenched as he looked at Sarang.

Jungkook: "You're not going anywhere without me."

Sarang nodded, trusting him completely.

The Battle Begins

As night fell, the peaceful estate turned into a battleground. The brothers worked together seamlessly, protecting Sarang while fending off their enemies. Jungkook stayed by her side, his sharp eyes scanning for any threats.

At one point, a masked figure approached, but before they could get close, Jungkook stepped in front of Sarang, his gun aimed and steady.

Jungkook (coldly): "If you want her, you'll have to go through me."

The figure hesitated, clearly recognizing Jungkook's reputation, before retreating into the shadows.

When the fight ended, Sarang clung to Jungkook, her heart racing.

Sarang: "I thought I was ready for this, but..."

He pulled her into his arms, his voice soft.

Jungkook: "You don't have to be ready for anything. That's why I'm here-to keep you safe."
