Lexi rolled her eyes, reaching over me and patting AJ's knee. "Jesse isn't interested in Aimee. She may be interested in him, but he definitely isn't. He seems like he just wants her to fall of the face of the earth."

AJ sighed, crossing her legs now. "Scott says I need to get over this stupid fight with Aimee... And I know he's right, but I just can't get over it. I can't believe Aimee did something so horrible to Lexi."

Scott was probably one of the sweetest guys that I had ever met, and I thought that AJ was super lucky to have him. I wished that I had had a boyfriend that cared about me as much as Scott cared about AJ, but I started to think that that wasn't possible. It felt like I wasn't ever going to get a boyfriend at all.

"Look, they're here!" Lexi cried, jumping up from the steps and making her way toward the six people that were so far away that they looked like ants.

Chelsea, AJ, and I did our best to try and keep up with her, but it was kind of hard to beat the queen of the track team. So we kept our slower pace as we made our way closer and closer to Jesse and the five people that walked behind him.

"Hi!" I heard Lexi say to them as she stopped in front of them. "I'm Lexi Lightle, a friend of Jesse's!"

She definitely wasn't a friend of Jesse's. She just liked meeting new people, and thought that it would be cool to actually meet delinquents. And she knew that it would have been weird if she just came up and started talking to them without a reason.

"I'm Marnie, Jesse's cousin," the light haired girl introduced with a smile, waving a little as she did so. Her green eyes were almost the same as Chelsea's, and she had light brown hair that I couldn't help but feel jealous over. I've always wanted light hair, but of course my hair was almost black.

She was standing next to a boy with caramel hair and blue eyes, and I assumed that this was Seth Haven. He didn't look as menacing or malicious as I had expected him to, but he definitely didn't look like a wimp or anything. He was actually pretty attractive, and I couldn't help but think that he kind of looked like Dallas, except Dallas's hair was lighter and blonde and he had brown eyes.

I looked behind Jesse as AJ and Chelsea were introducing themselves to see a blonde boy staring right back at me. He was grinning like a freak, and I couldn't help but feel strange. What was he grinning about? Did I have something on my face?

Before I could reach up and check my face, the blonde popped up right in front of me, that grin still plastered on his face. "Yo! I'm Rex! Who are you?"

I blinked, not expecting him to sound the way he did. His voice was deeper than I had been expecting, but it wasn't too deep. He seemed like he was hyped up on sugar or something, and I pretty much forgot what my name was as I stared at him, not knowing what to do.

"Her name's Jordan Emery," Jesse answered lazily from beside me as he gave me a strange look.

Marnie's green eyes snapped to me immediately after Jesse had said my name, and she was grinning like crazy. "Jordan? The Jordan?"

Jesse gave his cousin a look that I couldn't read, but I was sure that it was telling her to shut up. Marnie only giggled, coming up to me. "It's great to meet you, Jordan! Jesse talks about you all the time!"

I blinked. "He does?"

Marnie began to nod, but Jesse pushed her lightly out of the way. "To tell her how annoying you are and how you're ruining my life."

Oh.

I should have known.

I then turned toward the other two people that had come along, and I blinked once again when I saw the boy that was wearing all black. His black hair hung in his face, and he quietly stood off to the side. He scared me just a little, mostly because he was a delinquent more than a emo, but I didn't do anything to show my fear. Was he going to introduce himself?
