The plan

It had been 7 moons since Ravenpaw had left Thunderclan with the help of Fireheart and Greystripe. He was sat outside the barn in the sun wondering if they missed him.

"Watcha doin?" Barely a black and white calico cat mewed from just inside the barn startling Ravenpaw "oops! Didn't mean to scare you!" The black cat with a white tipped tail turned to face Barley "no, it's ok!" he meowed "I'm just wondering... do you think Thunderclan misses me?"

Barley looks into the black tom's eyes lovingly. "Of course they miss you. I miss you all the time! Even when you're with me!" Barley meowed with a happy tone.

Ravenpaw smirks at the answer "that's because you're a clingy boyfriend!" Ravepaw purred as he got to his paws and licked the cat between his ears. "I'm not a clingy boyfriend!" Barley argued "I don't think I am at least."

Ravenpaw chuckled and sat down next to Barley resting his head on his shoulder.

Then Barley had an idea "I know!" Ravenpaw looks at him curiously. "We could go to ThunderClan camp and I could say I need to speak to Bluestar then because she knows you're not dead" he continued enthusiastically "I could tell her to get Fireheart and Greystripe then you could speak to them!" Barley meowed beaming with happiness and a little out of breath from the long sentence.

Ravenpaw looks at Barley a bit confused but starts to slowly understand "yeah! That could actually work!" Ravenpaw purrs happily.

They both then look up at the pink sky as the flaming sun goes down. "We should rest and go tomorrow." mews Barley as Ravenpaw nods sleepily.

Ravenpaw nods towards the barn and they both get up and slowly walk in. They sit down on a hay sack and shared tongues with each other for a bit, then lied down to rest. "Night Raven, love you!" Mewed Barley "Love you too!" Replied Ravenpaw as they both fall asleep snuggled up together as the cold moon rises on the silent night.

The morning sun rose over the never ending fields. Barley was stering from his sleep. As he awoke he see seeks for the warmth of his partner Ravenpaw but he couldn't find him.

Barley sat up sleepily "Raven?" He mewed but there was no answer. Barley stood up and looked around the dim lit barn for Ravenpaw but he wasn't there.

Barley ran over to the barn entrance and peered out. He saw Ravenpaw out chasing a butterfly and he sighed in relief then trotted out.

"Morning Raven!" Barley mewed. Ravenpaw didn't stop chasing the butterfly but happily meowed "Hi Barley!"

"What are you doing?" Barley yawns. "I'm trying to get this butterfly." "Why?" "Why not!"
