"Salt?"

The person voice got louder, shit who could it be? That voice sounds like Paper.. oh god she is in trouble because of this! It's fine! Everything is going to be fine. She just needs to explain Paper why she is here in the best way possible, and hopefully he understands! I mean of course he would understand! Why wouldn't he understand something so simple like that, so she turn around to see this person and she was right it was Paper.

"Uhm.."

She muttered, trying to think of something to say. Some reason she wants to lie out of this but she knows Paper will know that she is lying because almost every day she complains to him. Gosh why is she panicking right now? Didn't she just believe that he was gonna to understand her true intentions for this? Right right.. he will understand! She is just panicking cause she got caught of course!

"I-.. uhh I was gonna check up on OJ! You know it being what? Months since he got out of that office, so I wanna check on him."

Please believe that, Paper, she thought. He look at her with disbelief and shook his head, so he let out a sigh as he push his glasses up. Salt was standing nervously as she starts to fidget a random strand of her hair, hoping that a sad excuse of a reason will convince Paper.

"Jeez.. and I thought I was the bad liar. Ok just cut the chase why are you here?"

Paper sigh and he shook his head in disappointment. Welp! A for effort, Salt! Everything is going to be fine. Okie dokie even! She stop fidgeting the strand of hair, and reply.

"I kinda want to see OJ and possibly talk to him. I mean you would open the door for me, right? Surely he isn't too busy not to have a conversation with me! I mean if he has time for you, which... is a lot then he would have time f--"

"Salt, This is getting tiring. I get it! You like OJ, but he has work to do and you need to respect that and not try to bother him and not enter the office."

Paper interrupt her sentence which made her a bit mad but she calm down cause there is no reason to start an argument right now! Also she has been respecting OJ privacy, so she has no clue why Paper says that. Like come on, she only complains to Paper about him everyday and this is the first time she is going to this office! The only time she wasn't respecting his privacy was in season one but she change to not to be like that! She grumble under her breath, it was mostly random muffled thoughts that Paper couldn't hear, but one that he could hear was "So protective over him.." it really got his attention and seemingly made him mad!

"I'm sorry but what's did you say?"

Paper say and Salt look at him with a slight confuse expression on her face. She wasn't expecting him to be listening to her mumbling but oh well! Why does he look so mad for? She thought, did he misheard something? Oh of course he did! Oh silly Paper! She never thought he would mishear something but look where here are now!

"I really don't know what you want me to repeat, Paper. But I am going to assume it's the uh.. so protective over him"

"You know me and him are dating, right? We been for a while now.."

Oh.. that's not.. what?! What's a funny joke that is! Salt awkwardly laughs and across her arms, scratching one of her hands. This feels like the end of the world for her, but there is a chance that he is joking.

"Yeahh... totally knew that."

She replied with a bit of sarcasm in it as slowly look down and sigh to herself. She took a deep breath and a step away from the door. She fidgeted her fingers nervously and smile.

"Well...! Sorry about that! You can go and I'll be back! Have a... good day!"

Salt walk away and Paper look at the girl at confused and then continue his day. Meanwhile with Salt, she decides to go back to her and Pepper's room. Her best friend wasn't there in the room. Must be talking to someone.. but she has Salt to talk to! Why would she want to other people than her?! Oh ok.. no that's a bad mindset to have. But she really needs someone to rant to right now, but you know it's fine! Salt lay down on her bed as her thoughts were the only thing keeping her engaged right now.

Why did OJ picked that one over her? It doesn't make sense at all! Does she need to more likable? No! She is already likable by all. What does Paper have that she doesn't?! She just couldn't wrap her head around it! A sudden thought got to her.. it sounds cruel of her to do, yet her love for OJ was still there and strong. So, you know violent isn't the answer to anything, but maybe in this case it will answer.
