Chapter 2: A Family Reunion

 “Yes dear, you father is William Simon Salvadore and h-he’s ill, you need to go to Paris to see him” my mother stated

“Umm, mom. How about my school here? What will I say to my teachers for my all of a sudden leave?” I asked her. She laughed and shook her head.

“Dear, that will only be simple” my mother smiled, she kissed my forehead and hugged me “Now tell me, why are you crying?” my mother asked me

“It’s Just, mom. I am ugly, and my friends keep on bullying me” I told her and my eyes became watery again, my mother placed 2 fingers under my chin and raised my head.

“Dear, whatever you look like. You are beautiful, inside…” my mother said and kissed my forehead, now before we go to Paris, we need to make you look presentable to your father” my mother exclaimed, I jumped out of the bed and looked at myself in the mirror. I sat down in the chair and rested my head on my arm

“But mom, how can this face change… Even a little” I said sighing, my mom walked and pulled my hair back. She smiled and looked at me through the mirror.

“Dear, how about I take you for a little make over?” my mother asked I jumped out of my seat and hugged my mother tightly

We went to the parlor first, they straightened my hair and removed some of the hair in my brows. My face changed, I look different, just different. My mother said, I made a big difference from before. My hair has been enhanced and my beauty, was just starting to show itself.

My mother brought me to the dentist. The doctor said that he may be able to remove my braces, because I already had them since I was 13. He also gave me a treatment, he made my teeth pearly white and even gave me a candy after. Do I look like a kid?

My mother and I visited my doctor that is assigned for my eye. Since my glasses where broken and I have astigmatism, he gave me a box of contact lenses to wear. And I am going to tell you, it stings at first.

Then for the end of the day, my mother brought me to the mall to shop for some clothes. What's with beauty if you don't have new clothes to look presentable ain't it? She brought me to Forever21, Heritage 1981 and many more store where I can buy gorgeous dresses.

Okay, my mother and I went home from such a busy day. We really enjoyed bonding together. However my mother and I will prepare to leave for tomorrow. Goodbye San Francisco! Hello PARIS!

~Tristan’s POV~

I was thinking about yesterday… Why was I so guilty. Whatever I just headed to my class, Gabrielle was in this class, I’ll apologize to her.

I relaxed myself on the chair, the bell already rang but no sign of Gabrielle she must have been so offended by me. I kept on thinking she was late but the principal came in and talked to Mrs. Fern for a minute and she finally announced

“Okay class, to my regret. Your classmate Gabrielle has now left for Paris, her father needs her for a certain business” Mrs. Fern stated, BUSINESS?

“I thought nerd girl didn’t had a father” someone whispered

“HUMP! She was totally embarrassed on what happened yesterday! She is just such a…. NERD” Lindsay said. GOD! What’s up with this girl. I must’ve really hurt her, well forget it. She’s not coming back.
