Hacker Yeosang didn't really have a moral alignment aside from protecting 'the little guy' from those in power. He wasn't too concerned over who was hurt as long as those unable to help themselves were able to escape their situation. Out of control rich assholes, abusive partners, gangsters putting pressure on simple shop owners for ‘protection’ money. Kids in need of escape from bad living situations. If someone knew where to find him, Yeosang would help them no questions asked.

Most couldn't pay him what his services were worth, but that didn't matter. He took from the rich, filtering their funds into his own accounts as a final ‘fuck you’ before he disappeared into thin air. Cyberspace was his haven. His kingdom. He thrived behind his computer screen. Data streams and numbers were his comfort.

Yunho wasn't picky about his jobs. Money was money. Sure, he didn't want innocent people caught up in his business, but that didn't mean he didn't enjoy getting to beat up those who got in his way. Police treated him like a villain. He may as well embrace it sometimes. It was more fun that way.

Yunho preferred a more physical approach. Anti-hero, vigilante, criminal. Whatever you wanted to call him. Yunho happened upon the mysterious hacker during one of his own jobs. He'd been paid to handle some trouble makers causing issues for one of the local gang leaders. A simple task really. Get into the computer, get the evidence, maybe knock some heads. A normal night out.

Until a hacker completely ruined his plans. He'd had his hands on the documents, already transferring files onto a hard drive for his current client, when suddenly, someone else took control of the computer. Everything turned into a series of numbers and he watched as every last document disappeared before his eyes. Yunho failed the job because of this. Nearly lost his life, too.

When it happened again a few weeks later, Yunho decided it was enough. Angry at being messed with, he came up with a plan to hunt down the mysterious hacker. He put out fake jobs to lead the hacker exactly where he wanted him. It took months of work, but Yunho was determined. He'd teach that meddling hacker to mess with his work. Yeosang was intrigued yet frustrated with the constant interruptions in his own work. Somehow, this same person kept showing up. Moments before he was able to hack into a computer, it would be shut down. Or someone would steal all the money before he did. Jobs came to him, only to turn out fake. Someone was clearly targeting him and it was getting old. He never knew if a job was going to be legitimate or not. Yeosang’s livelihood was at stake.

Tired of the run-around and lack of lucrative payment, Yeosang decided he needed to handle the next job in person. Perhaps he’d get a look at who kept interfering. Unfortunately for him, Yunho had planned it all. He had waited each time in hopes the hacker would make an appearance. And this night seemed to be his lucky break. Yeosang wasn't experienced in personal confrontations and found himself falling directly into Yunho’s trap.

He’d been bent over the computer in a dark personal office. His drive was plugged in and he was transferring documents onto it. He wasn’t sure about the target’s bank accounts. He’d have to try and hack them later back at home. But the documents, if it was a legitimate job would bring him in a good payday on their own.

Suddenly someone grabbed him out of nowhere and slammed him against the wall out in the hallway. Yeosang cried out in shock and kicked at the man who held him. He managed a solid punch across the taller figure’s cheek before his wrist was caught and a knife point pressed to his throat. Yeosang froze, glaring up at the man in front of him. He was surprised to see how young he was. Likely around Yeosang’s age. His height gave him quite the advantage and Yeosang couldn’t help but feel dwarfed in comparison.

Yunho felt a gleeful pride at having caught the hacker just like he planned. His pretty faded blue hair and small frame wasn’t quite what he’d envisioned when he planned this attack. He wanted to scare the man into backing off his area of expertise. Hackers could work anywhere, right? Surely it wouldn’t be that hard to convince him.
