PM and AM in time stand for something.
• AM is referred before MIDDAY
• PM is referred after MIDDAY.
But where does the p and the a come from?!
Ahh.
AM stands for "Ante Merîdiem" which means "before midday" in Latin.
PM stands for "Post Merîdiem" which means "after midday" in Latin.
