Hello my name is Kirie Otome. I live in Japan with my mom and dad. I attend Kyoto highschool. My age 16, gender: female. My best friends are Yuki Towaya and Azumi Bushiro.
I have a great life. I've met nice people and I'm successful in all of my classes. Then one day I met.....him. This is how it all began

Its is October June 2016. I have now begun my second year here in highschool. Besides all the bitchy cheerleaders and the stone headed jocks. This place isn't all that bad. I am in second session right now. This was the best part of the day because I am in the same class as Yuki. I don't know which class Azumi is in. But I'm sure he'll be fine. Today's subject is on the outer teller worlds. BBBBOOORRNNNIIIIIGGG. There nothing out there but a bunch of dumb planets and stars. If there was life out there why haven't they contacted us? I'm sure a space cellphone doesn't cost that much. Maybe they are just scared of us. Humans don't bite all we do is destroy our ecosystem and polute the air. All I hope is that we don't get invade. "Kirie this pretty boring isn't it?" Yuki whispered to me. " Yeah...very boring." I placed my head on the desk hoping the day will end faster. The school bell rang and I felt a bit of relief. Yuki and I grabbed our backpacks and waited outside for Azumi. For some reason he was always late. I bet he his hitting on girls. He always tries to get a girlfriend this time of year. Yuki looked around only to see Azumi beat up. He has a bloody nose and busted lip. "Oh my god Azumi what happened to you?!" Yuki said as she ran towards him. "Its those jocks.....again." Azumi said. "What happened this time." I said as I raised my eyebrow. "Nothing happened all I did was pick a fight." Yuki was shocked by Azumi's words. She punched him in the arm. "Ow! Yuki what was that for?!" Tears started to form in her eyes. "I was so worried about you! You shouldn't go picking fights with those jerks! And I'm crying because.... I wasn't there to help you." Azumi was stunned by her words. He then wrapped his arms around Yuki hugging her tightly. "I'm sorry Yuki. Your right I should have never picked a fight in the first place. Please forgive." Yuki then started to cry and buried her face on to Azumi's shirt. I however just stood and watched the two love birds. It was dumb of me to think that Azumi was hitting on girls. He was already dating Yuki. Azumi fell in love her sometime ago and it took him a while to admit his fellings for her. But I'm not third wheeling. Well not yet at least. "Hey listen I got to go. I'll see you two tomorrow." Azumi had a confused look on his face. "But Kirie isn't tomorrow Saturday?" Now I had a confused face. "Oh right.... I uh. I knew that" I walked away waving goodbye. Azumi and Yuki waved back and headed off. I took the usual way home. It would have been easier to take the bus but, I rather walk home. Suddenly I felt the whole area shake. Car alrams were being set off. People outside trying keep there balance. In the sky something was shining bright. People looked up and started to run away. I had no idea what was going on. Are mom and dad ok? Did Azumi and Yuki make it home safely? Questions filled my mind. The sky light up even brighter. Then finally I looked up and my eyes were opened widely. A blue meteor flew above my head. I watched as it flew across my school. I'm not sure where it landed all I did was run home as fast as I can. As I entered my home I slammed the door shut. Breathing rather heavily I hear footsteps. My mom had entered."Kirie sweety are you ok?" She walked over to me. "Mom! Did you see that?!" She nodded. " You mean the meteor? Then yes I did." I finally catch my breath and head to living room. Dad is in there watching the news. "Hey dad what does the news say" I place my backpack by the door and sit on the couch with dad. "They said something about an incoming object in our atmosphere. Whatever it was it must have caused that earthquake." He said with his focus still on the news. "It was a meteor." I too also had my focus on the news.

What I hadn't realized was that meteor was going to change my life forever.
