Sunlight reflected off of the faceplate of the watch. The glass glinting, as the wielder of it tugged his sleeve down over the contraption. Stuffing his hands in his pockets, the teenager continued his trek from the train station towards school. He'd already missed two days of his first week. Fortunately, he was so new his Uncle's number wasn't listed as the contact yet so they had no one to contact to inquire about his absences. Oddly enough, he hasn't dreamt of that church place as he had on the first night he got the watch. It was like he blinked once the fight was over and when he opened his eyes that second later, he was in the Ayase residence. So lost in thought, the boy didn't hear the speeding up footsteps come in from behind.

[ "Heya, Starrrboyy." ] - The psychic grinned as she pulled her arm back after catching his attention. Ayase wasn't wearing her uniforms pink jumper today, he noticed. She looked down at the watch peeking out from under the sleeve of his uniforms jacket, the faceplate too large and the shimenawa-esque band too thick for the article of clothing to conceal. [ "You disappeared before breakfast, Granny thought one of those aliens took over in your sleep." ]

[ "Nah, went back to my Uncle's apartment for a shower and fresh clothes." ] - His face visibly soured at being called 'Starboy' yet again. But it wasn't nearly as bad as having to double down on his already weak lie to his Uncle, having to tiptoe around why he was covered in bandaids. Scuffs and bruises also marring his limbs. [ "You can go bother Takakura now." ]

[ "No can do. The old hag says I gotta keep an eye on you, in case you get possessed." ] - She smugly smiles, forming one of her psychic hands that grab at the air before the constructs fizzles out into nothing. Ayase tittered upon seeing the watch wielder visibly sigh in annoyance at not having an easy way out. [ "Sides', I usually meet Okarun by the gate." ]

[ "Don't you have more important things to worry about? Like that Shiratori girl that thinks you're a demon queen?" ] - Momo scowled deeply at the mention, even more so at the snickering of the watch wielder she was trailing side by side.

[ "She's not even worth it. I'll just drop another washpan on her head and it'll be all good" ] - Ayase waved her hand through the air casually, brushing off the threat of the pink-haired nuisance that she had to resuscitate. And then she still goes and acts like that! In Mono's house, too! [ "Sooo, you try out any other aliens yet?" ]

[ "Your grandmother told me not to push my luck with them." ] - His mind drifted back to the night that he first got the watch. The 'dream' he had once he escaped the spaceship. And what the reflection had told him. Overpowering the teenage boy's consciousness wasn't an issue for it. So he was making sure to steer very clear of that one. Even scrolling past the silhouette when the watch is active gives him the creeps.

[ "Thats not an answer. The old hag tells me to do stuff all the time, but that doesn't mean I listen." ] - Like when she skipped school when her attendance was already super low to go see a reshowing of Dearest at the cinema. Ken Takakura was in it. The actor, not the castrated one. Obviously Momo had to disobey the older Ayase to see it. It didn't matter that she'd already seen it like seventeen times.

[ "No, I have not tried anymore transformations." ] - Rolling his eyes. Chancing both his body and mind being rewritten just for the chance to turn into an alien, he didn't think, was very comparable to skipping school to watch a movie. Though maybe he was the weird one here, clearly.

[ "Lame." ] - She sticks her tongue out playfully while they cross the road from a stoplight.
