Stiles POV

I paced around my house waiting for Derek to get here. I had questions, too many questions.

Like, why didn't he tell me? Well, we aren't really together...so he isn't obligated to tell me. Even if we were, he isn't obligated to tell me. That's a huge secret. One you can't just go around telling everyone.

I heard a knock on the front door. I ran down the stairs, tripping, getting up and answering the door.

"Hey." I said losing my balance again.

Derek chuckled, "You okay?" he asked. I nodded nervously. "Relax a little."

"Sorry." I said, walking with him to his car.

The drive was silent for awhile before I couldn't take it anymore.. "Why didn't you tell me?" I asked.

"It's not really something I blurt out after one date Stiles." He replied.

"You told Scott and you didn't even know him." I said.

"Because he needed help."

"Sorry, I'm being stupid." I sighed looking out the window.

"It's fine, Stiles." He replied, pulling into the parking lot of the restaurant.

---

After dinner we sat outside by his car. I sat on the hood, Derek to my left. "I really like you Derek." I mumbled.

"I really like you too, Stiles." he replied, bumping into me slightly.

"We should do this again."

"Yeah, we should."

We sat there in silence for awhile before I finally asked Derek if I could go home. Not that I didn't want to be with him anymore but I had school in the morning and It's getting late.

Oh god. I sound like my dad.

He walked me to my door, his hand around me on the small of my back. When we made it to the door he I smiled up at him. 'I really want to kiss him.' I thought to myself. I felt him wrap his arms around my waist pulling me closer so our bodies were pressed together. I snaked my arms up around his neck, our gazes locked. A few seconds passed before he leaned in pressing our lips together.

The kiss was short, mostly because my dad pulled into the driveway. I giggled seeing Derek get nervous. "Call me?" I asked.

He nodded, "I will." He pressed a kiss to my cheek as my dad was walking toward us. "Goodnight Stiles, Mr. Stilinski." He nodded at my dad.

"Goodnight, Derek."I said watching him walk off after my dad nodded back.

---

"Dude." Scott laughed, hitting my arm.

"What?" I replied closing my locker as my phone went off.

"Why are you so happy?" He asked. I looked at the message on my phone.

From: Derbear
Goodmorning Gorgeous

I smiled, "I'm just in a good mood Scott." I said texting Derek back.

"Is it that guy?" He asked.

"What guy?" I smirked.

Scott rolled his eyes, "That college guy." Scott said.

"Oh, him. He's fantastic." I told him.

Scott laughed "I need details, Stiles. You've left me in the dark since you met him!" Scott whined.

How are you?

To: Derbear
Better now, you?

"Well, he's a great kisser." I said.

"Not what I meant Stiles." He laughed.

"We aren't technically together so there's nothing to tell." I said.

"You still can't get anything out of him?" Lydia asked walking up to us.

"No, it's useless. He's an asshole." Scott said.

I hit him, "Jerk." I laughed.

"We have to get to class, come on."
