You walked alone on Derse, glad that nobody else was asleep right now. You liked being alone. Nobody talked to you, you talked to nobody. Your dress dragged behind you, sparkling. You didn't care.

You didn't really care about anything much anymore. You hardly ate, only the occasional hoof beast or large paw beast would keep you going, but drench you in blood. While you were on Derse sometimes, Karkat would come to your hive and clean up and wash your clothes. You thanked him, but you never asked him to. He just did.

Once when you were on Derse in your tower, someone in a gleaming gold outfit crashed to the ground outside. You sighed and hopped over the window ledge, floating down to look. The bricks were strewn about, and the person was in a small crater. You stumbled back.
"Tavros...?"
"Hey-"
And then you woke up.
