We walked and talked for a while until we were almost to the fro-yo place. I smile at her, "What's your favorite frozen yogurt flavor?"

She looks up at me and chuckles, "Well, it's kinda boring, but vanilla."
"I guess I'm super boring as well because that's my favorite flavor, but I get gummy bears on mine!" I chuckle.
"I guess I'll have to try your boring mix." She smirks.

"Do you want chocolate milk or something to drink with it?" I ask
As I hold the door open for her.
"Chocolate milk sounds great." She says. "Thank you!"

I walk in behind her and walk to the fridge, grabbing two Nesquick chocolate milks and walk to the counter. "Can I get two medium vanilla frozen yogurts with gummy bears on both?" I ask the cashier, he nods putting it all into the computer. "Is that all for tonight?" He asked with a tired smile.

"Yeah, that's all! Thank you!" I smile pulling my wallet out.

"Are you sure you want to pay, I'll pay for mine!" Jenny jumps in.

"No, it's fine, after what my friend did it's the least I could do." I smile.

"It will be $13.26 for everything." He smiles, I hand him a twenty.

"Keep the change buddy, your tired and you're doing amazing! Glad to see you're working hard." Watching his face light up makes me so happy.

"Wow, are you sure, that's almost eight dollars, are you sure?" He says, stunned holding the change in his hand.

"Yeah, I'm positive, buy a coffee and a bagel or just save it for a rainy day."

"Wow thank you, so much." He smiles, I smile back as I feel a hand on my back.

"That was really sweet of you to do Ashton." She says, admiring my deed.

"Really?" I ask, chuckling.

"Really." She says.

As the cashier places our frozen yogurts on the counter, "You have a gentlemen here. Thank you, again." He says speaking to jenny and I.

I nod, grabbing the frozen yogurts, as jenny grabs the drinks, "Thank you." She says to the cashier turning to sit at a table.

We situate our selves and I eat a spoonful of my food. "So I'm your gentlemen?" I smirk, looking at her.
"Maybe not mine but definitely a gentlemen, to say the least." Her cheeks turn a light pink.

"I just love seeing people happy. I love seeing people smile." I chuckle. "I don't know why." As I say this, a huge smile crosses her face.

"Well, Ashton, it's because you watch these situations and you help. You help whoever you can. And if you aren't helping, you're giving all you can to see others shine in happiness, even when they may be tired or sad and I know all of this within the maybe two hours I've known you because you're forward and you don't seem to be afraid of it. An d from me, that's an amazing thing to have." She smiles, eating a gummy bear. "Oh, and you're so right. Gummy bears go amazing with this."

All I can think of to say is "Thank you." Because I have never talked to someone as honest as she was or someone who appreciated who I was. "I guess the real person to thank is my mum, she raised me to be who I am." I smile.

"What about your dad?" She asks, genuinely. My face must have saddened or the silence I set off has triggered her to realize I was uncomfortable with the subject. "Oh, no, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to upset you." She smiles, through the guilt she feels.

"No, don't be sorry, it's fine, he left when I was young, he didn't do any good for me, so." I smile, reassuring her that it's okay.

"I'm sorry." She says, again.

"It's completely fine, tell me about your family!" I say, to cheer her up.

"Well it's me, my mum and my dad. It's just us three and I've kinda grew up getting all I asked for and at a certain point that made me horrible. But I learned from the consequences and I've become kinda timid but I'm happy I got out of my old ways." She smiles.

"Well, you seem absolutely amazing to me, so whatever happened did good." I chuckle.

She chuckles and continues "So, do you have any siblings?"

"Yeah, two actually, my little sister Lauren and my even littler brother Harry. They are great kids."

"They must look up to you so much, just as I already am."

I smile, "Yeah, I guess they do. I'm like the father figure for them, the figure I'm glad they have since I didn't. And plus, I can help my mum."

"You're honestly such an amazing guy, it amazes me people like you still exist in today's world."

I just smile at her and eat more. I was almost finished and she was too when I heard someone say my name, and I turned, seeing a group of young girls. I turn and sigh, "I'm so sorry." I hear them squeal and come into the store.
"I love you so much Ashton!" "Can I get a picture with you?!" They practically yell. I stand up and look at the cashier. I smirk at him.

"Yeah yeah yeah, you all look beautiful tonight!" I lean down into several pictures and I thank them for being in the family as they slowly leave.
"What was that?" Jenny asks, genuinely confused.

"Well remember Mikey? He's my band mate along with two other boys. We are in 5 Seconds of Summer and our band is making it big."

She smiles, "Wow what do you do?" She asks getting up to throw away her garbage, as I do too.

"I am the drummer and I do vocals too." I smile, "Take it easy man!" I say to the cashier as we walk out.

"That's so cool! I want to hear some of your music!!" She practically jumps in excitement.

"Well then, do you want me to walk you home now, or do you want to come to my hotel and we can jam out?" I chuckle.

"I bet my mum would be fine with me being out late, so let's jam." She smiles.
I wrap my arm around her shoulders and she leans into me as we walk the street lamp lit streets of Los Angeles.
