You hated the cold with a passion. You were a Fire Wizard not some stupid Ice Wizard. It was too cold for your liking so you didn't go out on any jobs when the weather was like this. You sat under your duvet with a hot chocolate, hiding from the outside dangers. Being stuck inside meant no jobs or no money and no heating, so you went to go get more blankets.

*Ergh* you thought to yourself. Despite your hatred to the cold, one of your closest friends in the Fairy Tail Guild was none other than the Ice Mage himself, Gray Fullbuster. You and him shared a love/hate friendship, considering both of your magical powers. You trusted him though and you two had developed a friendship over the years. You wouldn't ever develop a crush at all though, would you? It started to get even colder, it was now even snowing, so you went back to bed shivering.

It was around 11pm now and you were about to go to sleep. You settled down and as you were about to fall asleep there was a knock at the door. You sighed. Who in the name of Mavis would be banging down people's doors at this time. But as you opened the door, it was obvious who it wa--
"GRAY YOUR CLOTHES!" You yelled.
(Author: Heyyyyy! I was halfway through a sentence!
You: *blushing* Sorry! But look at him!
Author: *Happy Voice* You likeeee himmmm(;
You: *Looking like a tomato* Wha- No! Get back to the story!
Author: *sigh* Fineeeee)
Gray looked down and realised...well he was practically naked. The only thing holding onto his dignity was his underwear.

*Thank Mavis he's remembered underwear* you thought as you threw Gray a blanket. "Tell me...why are you here?" You said coldly.
"Well that's not a way to treat a guest!" Gray pouted.
*Oh my he's so hot! NO BRAIN STOP IT!*
"Um...why are you going red?" Gray questioned.
"What? Oh don't worry it's nothing" you said, hoping your skin would go back to normal.
"Right well okay..." Gray said.

"Yeah...uh so why are you here?" you asked, trying to change the subject.
"You wasn't at the Guild Hall today, I was checking to see if you were okay," Gray replied, looking down at the floor.
"Aw that's so swe-- uh I mean thanks" you said.
There was an awkward silence for a while, both of you just standing there looking at each other.

"Um so it seems you're alright...I'll just go..." Gray said, turning towards the door.
"Well it's late...but come by tomorrow okay?" You said.
"Sure!" Gray said before leaving your apartment. As you got back into bed, you could've sworn he had a smile on his face when you told him to visit again. You past your mirror walking to the bed and realised you were blushing. Maybe you did like him? But did he like you?
