I'm sorry hikaru... ( a hikaru x kaoru fanfiction )

2. starting to break away...

(This video makes me think of hikaru and kaoru. Kaoru beeing the ghost.)

We both walk in to the school sighing... the whole day went by rather slowly. But the two looked forward to the host club and their friends... or so they thought.

~in music room 3 :3~

Every one was chating with their customers as well as hikaru and I were charming the girls with our brotherly love act. Once we had our last customers Tamaki made an announcement. "Well it seems the host club is now closed...until next time." Tamaki says smiling.

Everyone was picking up around the host club and chatting. I went looking for hikaru but I saw him talking with haruhi.

My heart sank as I saw them talking and laughing with each other. Hikaru has been hanging out with her for quite awhile. It feels like he has forgotten about me.

I walked over to them and was about to talk to them, but my heart just seemed to crack and on the verge of tears I storm right past them and run out of the host club.

~hikaru's p.o.v~

After all the girls left I went to find haruhi. We start talking and laughing. To be honest I really like her and she likes me too. We were thinking about going out one day. We didn't want to tell anyone because who knows what Tamaki would do if he found out.

I think kaoru would be heart broken as well. As we were talking kaoru came over to us and looked at me. I was going to say something but tears started to fill his eyes and he ran out of the host club.

I started to chase after him yelling his name. "Kaoru...?!?!" "Kaoru where are you."

~kaoru's p.o.v~

Tears were constantly falling from my face as I heard distant yelling. Hikaru was running after me so ran even faster and I ended up at the hitachiin estate.

I ran up the stairs as fast as I could and ran to my own room that I never went to. I went into the bathroom and locked the door and started rummaging through the medicine cabinet.

I finally found a razor in the back of The cabinet and pulled up my shirt sleeve. I placed the razor at my wrist.
The words "He never liked you." "He only wants haruhi." Kept going through my head.

I finally slice the razor down my wrist making a deep cut. A tear runs down my face as I watch the crimson liquid flowing down my arm.

I end up making ten deep cuts. I was abkut to make another cut until I heard my name being called. "Kaoru where are you!?" Hikaru yelled. I quickly pulled my sleeve down as the noise was getting closer.

~hikaru's p.o.v~

"Kaoru!?!" "Kaoru where are you?!? I kept yelling. I ran all the way up to our room and he wasn't in there. Then it hit me he must be in his own room...but he never ever goes in there.

~back to kaoru's p.o.v~

I could hear hikaru going into my room. "Kaoru...are you in here?!?" It was silent for a while but then I finally opened the door with one arm behind my back. "Kaoru!" "Why would you run away like that?!" He said angrily. I flinched at his words...it felt liked he hates me now.

"i-im sorry hikaru...I don't know what happened." "You probably hate me now after what I did..." I say looking down as I hold my cut arm.

Hikaru looks at me sadly. "Oh kaoru...I could never hate you." He says pulling me into a hug. "Hikaru...I love you." "I love you too kaoru." But I truly meant that I love him....not just as a brother, but hikaru doesn't know that....
